This is definitely a game you need to own if you enjoyed the previous Guitar Hero games, the new layout is really player friendly and easier to get used to than you'd think. Guitar Hero Live is cheesy but a good offline experience whereas GHTV is super addictive and you'll find yourself just playing through songs thinking to yourself "Oh yeah I've totally heard this one before" unless you already know the song and are already singing along to it."

Need for Speed features a great line-up of cars, backed by the most authentic customization in the history of the franchise. The 'Five Ways to Play' and icons entice you to change up your style as you progress through Ventura Bay. While some issues might be frustrating, such as garage-space, no daytime and frame-rate drops; Ghost Games will hopefully continue to update and enhance Need for Speed in the months to come.

I wouldn't recommend Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition to those who already completed the game back in 2012, much like I didn't recommend Dishonored: Definitive Edition to players of the same nature, but it's a great venture to embark on if you haven't already played the last-gen versions.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 proves why Activision's three-year development cycle for Call of Duty is necessary. Black Ops 3 packs a huge amount of new content and feature innovations, along with keeping the core features that everyone knows and respects.

Star Wars Battlefront is a fun experience – with a solid progression system and a variety of game modes (some better than the others.) There's not much content, but it's still a game that will keep you drawn in long enough to unlock some of Battlefront's better equipment that makes map traversal much easier. It's a tough nut to crack, and forgiving some of the obvious flaws it has, I think I'll be playing Battlefront for a while.

While The Crew always had a solid and ambitious concept, Wild Run brings it to life with updated next-generation graphics, new vehicle specs for drift, dragsters and monster trucks, and even the introduction of motorcycles. While the handling and physics still remains an issue, it shouldn't prevent you from having fun when playing.

Rainbow Six Siege doesn't feel like modern day shooters, instead it's quite different. In some ways, it's refreshing. At other times, it feels like you're either constantly grinding for Renown, or watching a spectate screen.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India has competent gameplay and a vibrant touch of colour. However, lacking level design with cheap tactics designed to cause instant fail-states and tedious trailing missions take away from what could be a fantastic experience. Nevertheless, I still look forward to the next Chronicles game, Russia.

Resident Evil Zero might have frustrating controls, clunky navigation, and the most punishing inventory system you can find. However, it's HD remaster makes the game look good and the updated controls, while still finicky, still provide an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Street Fighter V is incredibly accessible, meaning that any player can hop on, get to grips with the controls, and have a great time. Competitive and casual players alike will find a home in Street Fighter V's diverse game modes and multiplayer matches. It's been a while coming, but Capcom's brilliant fighting series has finally returned.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 brings fun back into first-person shooters, reminding that this genre doesn't need to be serious to be absolutely fantastic. With a great hub world filled with content, and a brilliant multiplayer that improves on the already fantastic formula seen in the game's predecessor, it's something I feel like I'll be playing for a long time. And that's a good thing, because we all need more Plants vs. Zombies.

Far Cry Primal is without a doubt a step in the new direction for the franchise, telling a violent, but captivating story about the battle of the Wenja and Udam tribes. Despite some repetitive objectives, missions are action-packed and enjoyable, and taming beasts is easily my favourite feature found in Primal.

Hitman's Intro Pack is a confident start to what I hope to be a fantastic season. With a fantastic Paris level showcasing how Hitman should be done, the game really takes you back to the roots of the franchise. I'm looking forward to playing the rest of the season, and seeing what else developer IO Interactive has to offer.
