The Outerhaven Productions's Reviews

All in all, as much as I enjoyed the original game of Bloodborne, I found myself enjoying the DLC just as much, perhaps even a little more. The eerie setting, the backdrops, tons of mindless action, and PVP is just the tip of the iceberg with Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. So much that I know I'll be trying to beat the game just one more time before I perhaps hang it up for good, and anticipate the third coming of Dark Souls.

Helldivers is a fun, frantic and amazing deep dual stick shooter. Tackle it by yourself or several other players, there's no lack of things to do or challenge, especially on the higher difficulty missions. It's not the prettiest game out there but it makes up for looks with providing plenty of kick ass gun-play, satisfying weapon sounds and a touch and gritty environment that will chew you up and spit you out if you aren't smart about how you play.

In the early hours of the game, I was conflicted as to how the game matched up against its immediate predecessor, Obsidian's New Vegas (which I consider better than Fallout 3, and might have been my favorite game of the last generation). It did not seem to have as grand of a narrative scale, nor the same breadth of choices to make. Instead, the game is more of a personal journey. But Bethesda has done a great job of weaving that story so that the choices you make impact both your character and the Commonwealth, even if it's not as obvious as purifying water or taking control of Hoover Dam. At the same time, the base game has seen a variety of changes that may be more divisive, and the execution is nowhere near as smooth as is expected. Nevertheless, Fallout 4 is a great game that deserves the attention it has received.

WWE 2K16 is definitely the perfect blend of fun and competitive gameplay, and a definite shot in the arm for this series to date, being a step in the right direction that the series needed after setting the foundation with WWE 2K15.

I don't know about you, but Rise of the Tomb Raider, while not a complete masterpiece, is pretty damn close to being one in the Action-Adventure genre.

In all, Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! is a fun game with great combat that should not be missed by lovers of anime and fighting games alike. Even if you don’t have the time to reach competitive levels of play, it’s still a load of fun single-player or with friends. Read more at The Outerhaven: Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! While it still has a ways to go in terms of being THE basketball sim, NBA Live 16 has made the necessary strides to at least be competitive against NBA 2K in the market.

All in All, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, at first did not see that interesting to me, that is until I got my hands on it. Full of kick ass music, fast and frantic gameplay which will have you on the edge of your chair as you try to hammer out a perfect gameplay session and of course, your favorite Persona 4 characters for you to choice and play with. Aside side a fantastic and colorful presentation, Atlus has created yet another exciting and fun entry in the Persona series, even though there are fans who may argue that this game has nothing to do with the series.

The Taken King is not only a fun and rewarding experience unto itself, it is a great expansion for the Destiny universe and elevates the game in nearly every way.

Honestly, NHL 16 may be the improvement that was needed to keep fans happy.

Witch Beam has created a title that incorporates old-school mechanics and game-play. Souped it up to 9000 and gave it a new coat of paint. The result is perhaps the single most fun title I’ve played in a very long time. A game that doesn’t take its self too seriously at all and more importantly, a title that anyone, regardless of skill level, can pick up and enjoy.

Madden NFL 16 regains its championship swagger in so many ways. The completely revamped Madden Ultimate Team, Connected Franchise, and the absolutely fun Draft Champions modes are definitely the highlight of this game, by far.

While the concept and artwork could have made for an interesting title, the game itself becomes more frustrating than fun. The technical issues do not help, either.

An enjoyable ride that ends way too soon and despite playing as one of the more interesting enemies in the game, you don't feel like the menace that the Keeper was when you originally encountered him. Thankfully the game makes up for its short duration in new game+ that includes more battles and something else at the end. What exactly, well that's up to you to find out. While not on the same quality as the previously two dlc titles, this is still worthwhile for The Evil Within fans.

Bloodborne is perhaps the best reason to date to own a PlayStation 4. Despite several minor issues that I have with the game, it's easily the best looking title on the system and easily my favorite (I still love you Driveclub). It has fast based combat system, more than enough weapons to keep just about everyone happy, interesting locations that you'll wander and get lost in and more importantly, it's fun. Lots and lots of fun. Despite the game being so short, Bloodborne is exactly the shot in the arm the PlayStation 4 need and another notch on FROMSOFTWARE's games that kick ass list.

A throw back to the Golden Age of gaming, Castle in the Darkness is a fun, yet death filled adventure that should not be missed. If you loved another similar type of game, Shovel Knight, then you're going to be right at home with Castle in the Darkness! Hard as balls, indeed!

All in all, Resident Evil HD Remaster is a fun romp back into the survival horror genre of years gone and thankfully a clear example of what can be done to an aged title if enough dedication and effort are put forward. This is the best version of Resident Evil to date despite the zooming issues or the camera angles, all of which you'll forget about as your fighting for dear life.

Bravo to both Upper One Games and E-Line Media for putting this gem out there, this is definitely a worthwhile and enjoyable title for all ages to enjoy as well as learn from. I truly hope that this title does well or at least meets their expectations I'd like to see more from these companies in the same vein as Never Alone.

Appealingly chaotic. It's the first phrase that comes to mind when describing Insomniac Studios' Sunset Overdrive.

All in all, I have and still am enjoying my time with Lords of the Fallen and it's a game that takes elements that made other games fun and popular while adding it's own charm and twists to it. Admittedly the AI of the enemies is odd at times and the boss battles are a bit on the easy side especially for those are well versed with the Soul series, but will still give newcomers a run for their money. For those who enjoyed the Soul series or even other action RPG's such as Dark Siders 1& 2, I highly recommend Lords of the Fallen, even if it only serves to be a filler for what many are calling the main course and you PlayStation 4 gamers know exactly what I'm referring to.
