Microsoft Flight Simulator is truly impressive. You literally have the entire world at your fingertips, and the freedom to customise your flight in incredible detail. But, it feels like the base – the proof of concept simulation that will be built upon – for a game that can become truly remarkable.

Overall, Battletoads feels like a bit of a relic of the past, which really speaks to how well Dlala have nailed that attitude-era style the 90s is famous for. The story can be humorous (at points) and there’s significantly more of it than I expected, while the variety in gameplay styles and mechanics keeps the experience fresh the whole way through. Unfortunately, that same style and humour does feel dated and grating at points, while the game’s combat sections are also some of its least engaging.

Destroy All Humans! is another wonderful remaster from THQ Noridc. The overhauled graphics make the game pop, while the action and general premise are just as entertaining now as they were back in 2005.

There are some small niggles that stop it from being great, like the weaker stages and slow progression towards buying cosmetics, but if you’re looking for a fun new multiplayer game, Fall Guys is for you.

If you were disappointed by Sticker Star and Color Splash, give this new entry a go as it is definitely more enjoyable, but keep in mind the series is clearly heading into a new direction.

It perfectly encapsulates the terrifying monster horror the game Is based on, and is filled with mayhem, gore and one hell of a power fantasy.

If you’re a fan of cyberpunk games and don’t mind some dodgy combat I’d definitely suggest checking out the game, but otherwise I don’t think this will be the game for you.

Catherine: Full Body is an excellent remaster that adds a lot of new content. There’s new difficulty options, new story content, gameplay tweaks and enhancements to the visual presentation. If you’ve been itching to re-enter the world of Catherine or simply missed out on it the first time, then this is without a doubt the definitive version.

Skater XL is a unique take on a market that certainly isn’t saturated.

Overall, Fairy Tail is a fantastic and faithful representation of its source material, while also being a wholly competent game as well. Its characters are fun, its story is engaging (if not particularly well written), while the flashy and interesting battle system is fun. Repetition in Requests and some performance issues drag down the game, as do its insistence on fan-service elements. In the end though, if you’re a fan of Fairy Tail or just want a new turn-based RPG to play, you’ll get some enjoyment here.

Overall, Ghost of Tsushima is a gorgeous and highly engaging narrative adventure, with some rote open world activities and small frustrations in combat.

In Death Unchained is a tough son of a bitch, but it’s also a pretty engaging experience, if you’re up for the challenge.

Command & Conquer Remastered Collection really breathes new life into the series, even if it’s just wrapping up its two oldest games in modern clothing. It reminds players of exactly what they fell in love with about Command & Conquer, with fun, challenging missions, goofy FMV’s and awesome music.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a quality remaster. It takes a good game, gives it a fresh coat of paint and allows both old and newcomers alike to see what made it an engaging experience in the first place.

F1 2020 is the most fun you’ll have in an F1 game this generation no matter your skill level, and with plenty of gameplay modes you’ll find you keep coming back for more.

Overall, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise is exactly the game you expected it would be. A largely broken and mechanically mediocre game that manages to somewhat redeem itself thanks to its quirky characters and engaging story. If you’re able to look past the game’s many faults, you’ll certainly find an interesting story to experience. Otherwise, you’re likely to be left totally underwhelmed.

While the game is supposed to be a calming and relaxing experience, it ends up just being frustrating due to all the repetition. There is some enjoyment to be had if you are a fan of farming games and will be playing this very casually, but otherwise there are better titles available.
