Sonic x Shadow Generations manages to perfectly combine two games and avoids falling into the easy path of simply selling a remaster of a game that, it is known, holds a very special place in the hearts of Sega fans. add an additional one such as Shadow's levels that are completely new and call to get the game even those who are not interested in Sonic Generations.

Metal Slug returns with a proposal that, although it may surprise fans of the saga, represents a radical change from its classic playability, taking a 180-degree turn. Some purists may reject this transformation, while more outspoken players, like this writer, will welcome it with open arms. It is a different way of returning to this world.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is actually a difficult title to evaluate. We can't base ourselves on everything that the GSC Gaming World team members have been through to add points to the analysis or feel sorry for them. But the good thing is that it's not necessary, because after all that effort, I can say, categorically, that it has been worth it .

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is an impressive reconstruction of a game that marked a turning point. A unique opportunity to relive this journey like never before or to discover why many consider it one of the best RPGs in history .

I would recommend it blindly, with its pros and cons, and I would even justify some of its “problems” with a psychology towards the player that really ends up getting rid of the infamous “Ludonarrative Dissonance”.

The game has its virtues, as long as certain shortcomings that we have already mentioned are forgiven. In the end, it offers a direct and fun experience, putting us in the shoes of a little squirrel who is not to blame for the situations in which he is involved.

Because, above all, Veilguard is Dragon Age in its essence, a single-player game with impressive visuals that make up a unique fantasy world full of life. A game that is more reminiscent of Dragon Age II mixed with the scale and epicness of Inquisition and that brings its own legacy with a fresh, fast and frenetic combat system. In short, a combination that leaves us with a remarkable title.

Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is a clear love letter to fans of the anime series, putting a large number of recognizable characters within the same story and also a huge amount of content that will not let us let go of the controller during the long game sessions that we will be able to throw at it, giving us a really fun anime game that surprises in some other section such as the wide variety of character classes.

The fact that Black Ops 6 is the first Call of Duty under Microsoft's umbrella is not relevant to the good work that Activision has had in its development, which is rumored to be the longest of all the CoDs so far. Yes, it always has little things to criticize and many insist on magnifying them, but don't get carried away by those who don't want to have fun, this year everything works like a shot: The campaign, the multi and the zombies. And that, at least for me, for all the vice it is providing me via a simple subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Many times those of us who have been in this world for several decades complain about the lack of originality and the constant reuse of old resources, well; Empire of the Ants is a truly original work despite the fact that the novel had already had a delivery in 2000 on PC, of very little popularity, but not even close to the level of realism and detail that is shown on this occasion.

If you want to have a good time scared on Halloween and solve Escape Room style puzzles, but intuitive in company and you are one of those who have a hard time with horror games, perhaps this somewhat light proposal from Jandusoft is for you, but for those who are looking for a hardcore experience full of jump scares, they will be disappointed.

In my opinion, it is a recommended game, whether or not you are a follower of its creators. It is a different proposal, full of humor, shooting, demons and a lot of action. It may have aged a bit, but that doesn't detract from the fun, something that many of us forget when choosing a title.

It may not be technically on par with other multiplayer titles, but I'll go back to what I often say. If you stick to your guns and do it well, the right audience will come to you. All-encompassing AAAs are out of fashion, AAs like Starship Troopers: Extermination are real gems for fans or for those who love a fun-filled PvE co-op shooter.

An outstanding game that will delight any JRPG fan. Perhaps the most die-hard Persona fans may feel that it is not what they expected, but we are not facing a new game in the franchise (we will have to wait for Persona 6), but rather the new king of JRPGs.

Unknown 9: Awakening is a game that tries to have its own identity, but that is diluted by decisions that do not convince us. There are very good ideas, such as the possibility of having enemies or the help offered by the Backhand and abilities, but these are overshadowed by incorrect decisions.

In conclusion, Final Fantasy XVI is a game that has proven to be a return to form for the series. The quality of the graphics and sound is impressive, the gameplay is very entertaining, as well as a combat system that hooks as well as its sufficient duration. However, it is important to note that the game requires a relatively high hardware configuration to function properly.

The truth is that the game is a nod to collecting and those who like the bobblehead toy line will understand the charm of the game more immediately than those people who are not so close to the collectible figures. If you're in the first group, you'll be pleased to know that Funko is releasing a number of Pops that include a code that you can change in-game to get new characters. First-rate marketing wherever you see it.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed retains its magical essence and adds audiovisual enhancements that make it attractive to the little ones, not forgetting veterans. It has undoubtedly been a wonderful experience and I recommend giving it a try, as it deserves it and is available on your Xbox.

It is always good for the preservation of video games that companies provide us with compilations worked with never-before-seen material from development, manuals, etc. In this case, Sunsoft includes all that and encourages more by bringing three games that had never reached western shores, for which for many they will be original 8-bit premieres from the 80s.
