Generación Xbox's Reviews

Jun 2, 2025

This has been a bumpy launch that didn't live up to what the series deserved. However, negative aspects aside, there's a great game here, one that retains many of the elements we enjoyed so much in the original installments.

81 / 100 - F1 25
May 31, 2025

It's clear that EA and Codemasters have focused on making a different game. Will it satisfy the core fan base? Probably, though perhaps not 100%. It's also worth asking whether the developers, with small changes, aren't beginning to open up their horizons to a new, more casual audience, one that doesn't want to spend so much time on specific car configurations and simply enjoys the category and the occasional race in a realistic setting. And if so, would that be so bad?

FromSoftware has created a new format within its universe, and it's done so without betraying its essence. Nightreign not only expands the game's scope, it also expands the possibilities of the genre, and is sure to set a new standard.

I hope Capcom decides to remaster the rest of the series while continuing to reboot the franchise in a title that will be released next year. The truth is, so far, the work bodes well .

88 / 100 - Blades of Fire
May 20, 2025

With an excellent combat system and the ability to forge massive weapons, this is a fresh experience that's not your typical souls-like game. Blades of Fire stands out from the rest in its own way, allowing us to enjoy its diverse and expansive world. Whether you're a fan of this style of game or not, it's a pleasant surprise, coming from the talent of a Spanish studio.

Revenge of the Savage Planet isn't perfect; it doesn't excel technically or innovate in terms of gameplay, but it takes familiar elements and executes them brilliantly. That's where it stands out from other offerings. It has that spark, that special touch you don't often see.

There's something for everyone, and believe me, there are plenty of games. There are eight titles, each with its own complexity and enough content to keep you playing for dozens of hours.

78 / 100 - The Precinct
May 13, 2025

The Precinct met all my expectations and fulfilled that wish I've been longing for since the days of the original GTA, although I think it still has some elements to polish, such as the bugs I already mentioned, and maybe add some more mechanics so that it doesn't become so repetitive after a few hours.

Amerzone – The Explorer's Legacy offers: an honest, restrained, and very well-crafted adventure. A tranquil gem to disconnect from the noise, enjoy the silence, and let yourself be carried away by the ruins of a forgotten world.

The new mechanics feel right for a new audience, and the constant nods to long-time fans are there to keep the nostalgia alive. This installment may not reinvent the genre, but I think it will earn a cherished place among fighting fans.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree doesn't aim to break new ground within its subgenre. Nor does it seek to be an absurd or pointless mashup; it simply aims to tell a story about decay in a world where a glimmer of hope still remains, and it's up to us to fight to recover it.

While WWE 2K22 will always hold a special place in my heart for its return to the right path, this new installment, arriving three years later, has all the potential to become the "favorite" title for many .

A quarter of a century after the release of the first Suikoden, this remaster fulfills its objectives. Are there any additional improvements needed? Yes, of course, but what it has is more than enough to further enhance the figure of a timeless classic.
