Everyone here in this newsroom and the loyal readers of this website may know about my fanaticism for Microsoft Flight Simulator, either because of how I talk about the production or because of the number of notes I have dedicated to it in this space, and that is why I would have loved the 2024 installment of the saga to be something that I could not criticize even if I wanted to, almost as it happened to me with the previous edition.

Sonic x Shadow Generations manages to perfectly combine two games and avoids falling into the easy path of simply selling a remaster of a game that, it is known, holds a very special place in the hearts of Sega fans. add an additional one such as Shadow's levels that are completely new and call to get the game even those who are not interested in Sonic Generations.

Many times those of us who have been in this world for several decades complain about the lack of originality and the constant reuse of old resources, well; Empire of the Ants is a truly original work despite the fact that the novel had already had a delivery in 2000 on PC, of very little popularity, but not even close to the level of realism and detail that is shown on this occasion.

The truth is that the game is a nod to collecting and those who like the bobblehead toy line will understand the charm of the game more immediately than those people who are not so close to the collectible figures. If you're in the first group, you'll be pleased to know that Funko is releasing a number of Pops that include a code that you can change in-game to get new characters. First-rate marketing wherever you see it.

It is always good for the preservation of video games that companies provide us with compilations worked with never-before-seen material from development, manuals, etc. In this case, Sunsoft includes all that and encourages more by bringing three games that had never reached western shores, for which for many they will be original 8-bit premieres from the 80s.

From Frontier it seems that they took due note of what they had to do and fulfilled it to the letter. F1 Manager 24 is the best of the three installments released to date and although there are several details to polish, the reality is that it is a must-see game for those who enjoy F1 and titles where we leave the direct action to start executing strategies behind the scenes.

There are many examples of how to do a remaster well, this is one of them. In Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Remastered, Skunkape's affection for the franchise is appreciated. Perhaps if you did not play the other previous installments you wonder if you can face this adventure without problems understanding the story, and the answer is yes, although there are many details that are treated or seen that happened in previous installments.

Despite the fact that there is still a whole half to go until the end of 2024, I have no doubt that Eden Genesis will be consecrated as one of the best metroidvanias of the year and is a must-see title for all fans of the genre. That said, if you are not a habitué of this type of game, the title is not the best entry point considering the difficulty it presents and that repeated attempts to overcome the marks to advance in the story can be repetitive and even become tedious at times.

F1 24 surpasses what was seen in the previous edition, you can see the usual talent of Codemasters and the experience they have been gaining with the franchise, although in certain instances you can see that the graphics engine is starting to get a bit old.

Horizon Chase 2 doesn't invent anything that hasn't been seen before, but it doesn't try either, and you know what? It's very good. The production takes a classic formula and adds the modern elements necessary to make it feel great in this era and for the player to enjoy the journey of their car from the moment of start to the moment they cross the finish line and what is better, it makes them want to play again immediately.

I really would have liked to come to this space with a phrase of emotion, satisfaction or happiness with Snow Day, but unfortunately it hasn't been like that. Is it the worst game in the world? No, not by a long shot, and that's why this review is ticking, but the truth is that it doesn't even overshadow the previous editions and I think that only the most die-hard fans of South Park will like it a little, so, if you are within this group, for 30 dollars it is a game that is not so bad, but I also hope you don't get your hopes up too much.

This is a new installment that still does not rest on the laurels achieved by the previous ones and continues to add details that make fans happy. Maybe if you are not a die-hard fan of the discipline and you have WWE 2K23 in your possession you do not want to immediately change for this new version given the subtle novelties, at least until it drops in price, but if, on the contrary, you are passionate about WWE, I would tell you not to hesitate and buy it right now, just the impressive roster it has, even without the DLCs already makes it worth the expense.

The Outlast Trials is not the Outlast 3 that many fans of the saga not only expect but crave very strongly, but this does not mean that it is not a game to miss, especially for those who have played the first two titles. As it is a prequel, the newcomers will not feel excluded from the story either, so at the hooking level, everything closes.

Riot Forge adds one more point in its crusade to expand the League of Legends universe with a very interesting adventure located in that universe and that may well not be and would still be a good title. In an era in which adventures seem to be scarce and good be the exclusive heritage of great sagas like Zelda, or memories like Banjo Kazzoie, new protagonists for the genre are always welcome, Song of Nunu is one of them.

Bandai Namco's new installment has that magic of a select few that makes you fall in love with a formula repeated for 30 years with just a few adjustments, but that not only doesn't get tiring, but feels renewed and motivates you to enjoy it.

I consider this new installment of Warhammer to be an invitation to newcomers, not only to the franchise, but also to the genre. Frontier manages to bring players into the universe in each battle with outstanding art that makes the gameplay pale and does not favor the scarce variety of factions and missions due to its own qualities.

The idea of combining puzzles with rhythm is really good and is excellently executed because it invites those who are not very fond of rhythm games, as is my case, without disenchanting those who are. The story is entertaining although it takes a complete background given the characteristics of the title, although it makes sense that it is present to give it a framework.
