LevelUp's Reviews
Lonesome Village it's a great hybrid between games like The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing. Sometimes it tries to be different, but in some areas the effort it's not good enough to make us forget about the other games.

Full of sensuality and with the best hack and slash action around, Bayonetta 3 is easily the best in the trilogy. It's a celebration that pushes the power of Nintendo's console to the limit.

New Tales From the Borderlands could have been a much better game. There is a huge potential in the Borderlands universe to explore stories about all those people who with their work and sacrifice pay the bills for the eternal greed of corporations. The potential of this world to tell stories we can relate to and then give us the illusion that the little guys can win, even if it's just once, was completely wasted. Sadly, New Tales From the Borderlands only delivers in concept and, in execution, leaves much to be desired.

Gotham Knights has good ideas, unfortunately, never reaches its true potential. The combat is fun, but feels less agile than previous Batman games. Also, the open world is full of repetitive missions and the RPG elements are insignificant. However, we had fun with the story, charismatic characters and playing with each hero.

LEGO Bricktales is a creative concept that takes advantage of the brand on which it is based. The way it transported us back to childhood to reconnect with our inner child and remember how we build fantastic things is brilliant. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants to relax for a while.

No Place For Bravery it's a great action-souls adventure with fun and challenging combat, but its technical issues can be very frustrating and ruin the experience for some players.

An atmospheric experience more than a game itself, Scorn is a desolate travel reminiscent of old school adventure games like Myst.

In the process of renovation, Valkyrie Elysium changed genre and sacrificed its RPG essence to become an action RPG that takes us back to the golden age of hack and slash. Unfortunately, its simple story and limited exploration can make you lose interest in continuing to play until the end.

Yes. Nine years later, The Last of Us has done it again. At the end of our journey, there is no greater feeling when the credits run that we are facing a masterpiece. One that will last forever and has earned its own place in the Olympus of the great classics. Because The Last of Us is the starting point of a company that decided to go one step further and give us a true work of art, those imperishable jewels that, regardless of the passing of the years, will continue to mark entire generations, and like others great titles in the past, establishes a firm foundation for the argument that video games are more than just high-quality entertainment, they are true works of art. Because that, at the end of the road, is The Last of Us. A work of art. A fucking beautiful work of art.

If 'FIFA 23' is the last image that we will take from a mythical saga that has reigned over the video game industry for more than 30 years, there is nothing more just and poetic than closing its "last dance" in style with a work that exceeds all expectations and sets a new standard for how the titles of the ninth generation of consoles should look, feel and play.

Having the opportunity to get this collection for Nintendo Switch, and being able to live out the story of Max and Chloe anytime and anywhere is highly recommended. However, we believe that Square Enix was able to even further polish and improve the game by taking advantage of the unique possibilities that the console has to offer.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden is an irregular game. The combat system is very addictive and fun, and the history is attractive due the characters and plot twists. However, there are a lot of rough corners. The exploration is boring and tedious, while the random fights are very annoying. And there are no innovations. If you can ignore the flaws, you'll find a classic and charming JRPG. Otherwise, turn around and look for a more ambitious game.

FIFA 23 marks an end of an era. Fittingly, its synthesis of everything good and bad that the franchise had, especially in the last years. It is not at all a breakthrough sports game that will mark a before and after in history, but it is not a disaster either. FIFA 23 lives calmly in the mediocrity that EA made a standard.

Grounded has great ideas and delivers a truly entertaining experience. It is one of those games that are made for you to start a game and get lost for hours while you get resources, improve your tools and build the best base of all together with your friends. What started as a small and crazy idea evolved into an exceptional survival that shines with great strength.

Various Daylife is an RPG originally designed for mobiles with the intention of being played for short periods of time. It has well-designed battle mechanics, and despite trying to provoke a sense of routine, players with little patience for casual systems will leave it after a couple of hours.

Despite his flaws, NBA 2K23 leaves the franchise in a better position than it was in recent years. Microtransactions continue to devour uncontrollably online modes, however, traditional modes are still there with gameplay better than ever. In the end, this year's edition can satisfy all types of players and although controversial, NBA 2K23 is a positive experience.

We found The DioField Chronicle to be a fresh, interesting and entertaining strategy game. There are several details that could be polished, but in the end its strengths shine enough to be insignificant. We are talking about a game that genre enthusiasts will want to try.

Kirby's Dream Buffet it's a great spinoff and a good way to celebrate Kirby's 30th anniversary, but it lacks content and something to make it as addictive as other online multiplayers.

Well they say that if it ain't broke you shouldn't fix it and that applies perfectly to Splatoon. All Splatoon 3 needed to be a success was to refine the already solid experience of its 2 predecessors, and it does that phenomenally well.
