So, One Piece Odyssey is a game that as an RPG can be tackled without any problem, but I really don't recommend it if you're not interested in the saga, even if you want this to be your gateway. On the other hand, if you're a fan from hell and it doesn't bother you that the genre is turn-based, the invitation to Waford Island is within reach.

If you're a fan of Dragon Quest, it's obvious that you're going to want to add it to your collection, and when you play it for the first time you'll probably have a hard time letting go of the controller. At the end of the day it is a worthwhile video game, as long as you keep in mind that it is a turn-based tactics, a genre that is gradually becoming more popular thanks to how fun it can be today. And if that is combined with Marvel characters, it's clear that fans will want to check it out.

In short, if you enjoyed the original and want to take that to larger proportions, it's obvious that you're going to like it for how simple its humor is and also for its graphical performance. It is totally a satire made into a video game, and if we are honest, it fulfills its function of entertaining. Of course It's not a GOTY, but I don't think it wants to be.
