SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a decent platformer, it's not great, but it's not the biggest disaster ever either. It comes at a time when platformers are a bit scarce, or at least if we talk about medium or large productions in the industry.

Motive Studio knock it out of the park. This remake of Dead Space is far superior than the original classic. Great additions, impressive graphics, outstanding audio and more, makes this game a most have.

So, One Piece Odyssey is a game that as an RPG can be tackled without any problem, but I really don't recommend it if you're not interested in the saga, even if you want this to be your gateway. On the other hand, if you're a fan from hell and it doesn't bother you that the genre is turn-based, the invitation to Waford Island is within reach.

Despite not being the expected genre revolution, River City Girls 2 is a fantastic sequel. WayForward improves every element possible, and pays homage to Kunio-kun's legacy.

Despite having a number of fun and interesting ideas, High on Life falls short of its full potential. The new game from the co-creator of Rick and Morty will give you a good time, but only that.

If you're a fan of Dragon Quest, it's obvious that you're going to want to add it to your collection, and when you play it for the first time you'll probably have a hard time letting go of the controller. For its part, if you are not so used to the franchise, it is likely that you can still enjoy it, since you do not need to be a total connoisseur of the genre to understand what this spin off is about.

The Callisto Protocol is just the new survival horror AAA game that we've been expecting. Despite not being the revolution that Dead Space brought almost 15 years ago, it's new ideas, atmosphere and general concept, are a win.

At the end of the day it is a worthwhile video game, as long as you keep in mind that it is a turn-based tactics, a genre that is gradually becoming more popular thanks to how fun it can be today. And if that is combined with Marvel characters, it's clear that fans will want to check it out.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are very worth it. This is a fantastic end to a great year on the Nintendo Switch, and I can't wait to see how Game Freak and The Pokémon Company take what worked here and expand on it in the future.

In short, if you enjoyed the original and want to take that to larger proportions, it's obvious that you're going to like it for how simple its humor is and also for its graphical performance. It is totally a satire made into a video game, and if we are honest, it fulfills its function of entertaining. Of course It's not a GOTY, but I don't think it wants to be.
