8.7 / 10.0 - Ghost of Tsushima
Jul 14, 2020

Ghost of Tsushima often loses itself in visual details and is missing endgame challenges but still offers enough gameplay variety and content to even get classic open world RPG Fans on board. For fans of the world of samurais and katanas this game is definitely the best one in years.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is as hard to recommend as the previous title. Newcomers won't be welcomed with open arms and will probably hate the controls, the graphics and story. Fans of the first game will still find everything they loved from the previous title including a great atmosphere and the bizarre characters.

7.8 / 10.0 - Iron Man VR
Jul 2, 2020

Marvel’s Iron Man VR delivers a solid experience for fans of the comics. With a bit more detailed areas and less frustating interactions the game could have been a lot better but besides that, the air combat gameplay is amazing and you'll see a lot of familiar faces from the Marvel Universe.

Nearly 17 years after the original release SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated proves why it deserved a Remake. Not only because all of the original voice actors but also thanks to Purple Lamp Studios, the charme of Bikini Bottom and everyone in it is still there. Besides some smaller technical issues, you can't make anyone wrong with getting this game if you are looking for some fun.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer is a nice funracer with simple and intuitive controls. The soundtrack is great and the motion controls with joy-cons work surprisingly good. Despite having Tournaments, a real campaign and more graphical changes would help the game a lot but 60fps Split-Screen and Online-Multiplayer are enough to keep fans of the original and newcomers entertained for the low starting price of 14,99$

6.7 / 10.0 - Disintegration
Jun 17, 2020

Disintegration presents itself as solid mix out of real time strategy and a sci-fi-egoshooter but doesn't offer much besides this bold gameplay experiment. V1 Interactive did a tremendous job but the limitations of such a small studio are pretty clearly visible in nearly every part of the single and multiplayer.

8.5 / 10.0 - Desperados III
Jun 16, 2020

For that what Desperados III is trying to be, it gets the job done. Mimimi Productions knows how to craft probably the best games in the real time strategy genre. The western setting was beautifully done and the characters are mostly amazing. If you are a newcomer to the series, you should stick with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun because Desperados III will mainly please veterans.

Naughty Dog doesn't let anything open to wish for and delivers their next masterpiece with The Last of Us Part II. The amazingly well done staging of the story, breaches of taboos and the amount of new gameplay elements, as well as animations offers together one of the most exciting expierences of this console generation.

The Command & Conquer Remastered Collection does the job, but nothing more. If you are looking for a quick nostalgia-trip, you won't regret it. Because of the outdated gameplay and the hardly restorable cutscenes, people who never played the original games won't get the right experience out of this collection.

Definitely the most beautiful version of the game with a lot of nice additions like a 10 hour long Epilog and some new modes. Newcomers will probably have some troubles to get into the old core elements of the game and the battle system but hardcore fans will have a lot do and explore in this Definitive Edition.

8.1 / 10.0 - Minecraft Dungeons
May 22, 2020

Despite being just a spin-off, Minecraft Dungeons doesn't need to hide behind its big brother. With great Dungeon Crawler elements you fight through a hero story with a lot of charm. The low entry price also lets you forget about some of the shortcomings of the game.

8 / 10.0 - Maneater
May 22, 2020

Maneater surprises in a lot aspects of the game and will please every shark enthusiast out there. Even RPG Fans can go for it, if they can live with a reduced gameplay variety, scope and reduced overall variety, compared to other games in the genre. The humor is great and despite being a short experience, its always fun to play.

7.8 / 10.0 - Gears Tactics
Apr 27, 2020

Gears Tactics successfully injects the brutal action of the Gears of War Series in a tactical environment with phenomenal boss fights and gory executions but runs itself in the ground with a repetitive mission structure and a lot of missing variety in many departments. Even newcomers of the Genre will soon have a desire for more.

8.1 / 10.0 - Resident Evil 3
Apr 6, 2020

With the remake of Resident Evil 3, Capcom is taking a daring step, because this is rather a reinterpretation of the classic. Unfortunately, the very strong staging and the very intense first player experience do not hide the small size and the wasted potential.

Four wins! One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 cannot be described more appropriately, which has impressively become the best offshoot of the entire Warriors game series. With a variety of characters, a gripping staging and an adult look, Koei Tecmo skillfully manages to do justice to the pirate epic even in video game form.

8 / 10.0 - DOOM Eternal
Mar 23, 2020

Doom Eternal enters the FPS-Arena with lots of gameplay/enemy variety und a lot more fast paced action. Sadly that is everything good the game brings to the table. The game doesn't do much to overtrump its predecessor and the game could live without a lot of the new features better, especially the battlemode multiplayer. If you looking for just some more Doom, you'll still get some fun out of it.

8.4 / 10.0 - Iron Danger
Mar 23, 2020

The unique selling point for Iron Danger is the time manipulation mechanic, which works admirably in combat situations. Made a mistake? Just rewind time! It is just plain fun to redo your tactical approaches until everything works perfectly. A must play for anybody, who wants to try something new in this kind of genre.

9.5 / 10.0 - Persona 5 Royal
Mar 17, 2020

Persona 5 Royal managed to motivate me to spend another over 70 hours with the game again and I haven't regretted it for a second. Even after three years there aren't a lot RPGs that can offer anything like this game and with the tons of new features and content even owners of the original game can easily dive into it again.

Except for its staging, the story mode of My Hero One’s Justice 2 is completely convincing. Fans in particular get their money's worth in the entertaining battles from the point of view of the heroes and villains. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the rest of the game, which hardly adds value with uninspired content.
