The Cruel King and the Great Hero is more a fairy tale than a game about young Yuu and her way of becoming a hero. The bookish fairy tale atmosphere gets enhanced through sweet graphics, handdrawn art and a great fitting soundtrack. Even though the turn based RPG gameplay is nothing new and to some degree even somewhat boring the game shines in the story department. The emotional side of things after the story picks up steam motivates to play through even grindy and tedious walking sections with too many random battles. If you like a good story that goes to the heart this sugary

Triangle Strategy is an impressive example how to implement mechanics of famous videogames into modern settings and expand on them in a great way. Challenging fights, loveable characters and an exciting story, with even more twists in new game+. A must have for fans of the genre.

In principle, Chocobo GP is good. Thanks to the charming story mode but sadly the low amount of different tracks and mediocre balancing and driving experience doesn't deliver an alternative to games like Mario Kart.

Let's make it short and simple: Gran Turismo 7 is amazing. It looks superb, plays differently with every car in a realistic way and keeps the failure of Gran Turismo Sport way behind it. If you are even slightly interested in racing simulations, there is no way around Gran Turismo 7

Elden Ring surpasses all expectations, eliminates all doubts that we had and surprises more than any other soulsborne game so far. If you can live with rare repetitive bossfights and enemy appearances due to the open world design, you'll get the most extensive and exciting game FromSoftware has created so far.

You notice immediately that Horizon Forbidden West massively builds upon the first game and offers a lot more of machine models and side activities. The Gameplay stays excellent, only the story takes a lot of time to gain momentum. Forbidden West is still a sequel how most fans would've wanted it to be.

The King of Fighters XV builds upon the 14th installment and succeeds in making it better (especially graphically). With traditional fast-paced KoF gameplay, small gameplay changes and having EX Moves outside of Max Mode fights are now more intense than ever and fun to jump into. KoF XV didn't "shatter expectations" but it surely surpassed them. Having only a rather lackluster story mode, multiplayer is where this game shines online and offline. We can recommend the game to every fighting game enthusiast and also to people who want a change from games like Tekken and Street Fighter.

If you haven't played Uncharted 4: A Thieves End and The Lost Legacy yet, you should get this collection. You'll get the best versions of both games, sadly without the multiplayer modes included in the originals. Fast loading times, three graphics modes, better optics and a great integration of the DualSense Controller make this a great remaster collection.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction doesn't feel like a add on but it isn't a full game either. Even if the setting, enemies and missing story elements feel generic, the challenging areas and the variety of operators and missions feel rewarding enough to keep you coming back every time.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale !! is an example that new is not always better. The Rush Duel mechanic is at most a nice gimmick that fails to carry an entire video game. The main reason for this is the small number of cards and the mandatory use of ready-made decks. The unconsumed characters and the accessible game world do not provide any consolation.

Halo Infinite doesn't offer all of its content at launch but shines already with a solid campaign, new innovative gameplay ideas and an expansive open world that will satisfy fans of the series. A few generic and unimaginative elements tarnish the whole package but besides these small missteps, one of the most innovative games of the series wait here for oldschool Halo Fans as well as newcomers.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl are a prime example when you play it safe. You stay true to the original game and implement some innovations from previous generations. However, these are not always in favor of the gaming experience, as there is no trace of a challenge. Although the fights look good, the Chibi Art Style around it seems visually unimaginative and no longer contemporary.

Just Dance 2022 does not manage to eradicate the criticisms of its last predecessors either. The all-round package is simply not valued enough for that. Nevertheless, the current offshoot manages to convince on many points. The choreographies are excellently worked out, well thought out and extremely sweaty. Fans can access it without hesitation, but this time also newcomers.

You can sum up the experience with Call of Duty Vanguard in one word: Mixed. Some campaign highlights are turned down by regularly freezes in all modes, a chaotic multiplayer and one of the most generic zombie modes in years.

How you can read out of our review, there is not much to criticize and lots to marvel at, in Forza Horizon 5. The menu is still a bit confusing but better as in the last game. In the PC Version you have to install the game on a SSD to get away from horrendous loading times but if you enjoyed the last games of the series or arcade racing in general you'll love this one.

Shin Megami Tensei V feels like a natural symbiosis from Nocturne and Apocalypse, packs on it a lot of new features and solves some of the problems of the older games. The verticality and collecting are extremly fun, the story is great and offers interesting characters. It only suffers a bit from being exclusive on the Nintendo Switch

Looking back at it roots, Mario Party Superstars brings back some of the biggest joys from the Nineties. A wide selection of the best minigames and classic boards originally debuting on the Nintendo 64 surely will satisfy everbody's nostalgia. On the downside it feels like there's content lacking, since there are only five playable boards, no overarching story and nothing worthwile to unlock. As soon as the nostalgia wears off, this Mario Party almost feels... incomplete.

Inscryption may not reinvent the card gaming genre, but it is filled to the brim with great ideas and the usual twists of a David Mullins game. If you enjoy a spooky atmosphere as well as deckbuilding definitely check this out!

After Man of Medan and Little Hope, Supermassive Games doesn't manage to surpass Until Dawn with House of Ashes either. This is not due to the unfamiliar setting, but to the characters in it. Completely overdrawn and clichéd, the player is rather happy at the beginning if he accidentally gets rid of one. To make matters worse is the technical quality, which from the graphics to the control is hardly convincing. Thanks to a strong last third, House of Ashes still manages to turn things around and brings it to a positive conclusion.

Unfortunately, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles does not manage to meet the high expectations. The title suffers from the usual weaknesses of various other implementations, which cannot be ironed out despite the great fighting system. Accordingly, the game lacks game content in every nook and cranny, which makes the solid framework look terrifyingly weak.
