Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin picks you up pretty good at the beginning with some great characters, a bit of charme and a thoughtful rice cultivation simulation. It sadly it loses a lot of it with repetitive gameplay design and action-rpg elements which make a lot of the tasks a bit tedious.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition delivers what it has to but nothing more. Retro- and Comic-Fans will still have a lot of fun after all this time but for everyone else the expierence got a bit outdated over the years.

Fans of Super Meat Boy that get accustomed to the autorun feature will have their fair share of hardcore jump'n'run action. People that tend to throw their controllers after trying the same sequene for the 8th time should try the game out or watch our gameplay video beforehand. But even though the game is sometimes quite demanding skillwise there was never an unfair situation. Furthermore, the levels' length make the game ideal for short sessions.

Cyberpunk 2077 is without question a very good game that at the end of the day only fails at one point: It cannot live up to its hype. This fact is particularly reflected in the technical condition, where game errors have a different impact from system to system. Even a gripping plot does not comfort the fact that the trip to Night City is more appearance than reality.

Godfall is the most monotonous title we've played in the last years. The short playtime, the missing replayability and no real effort to make the player care for the story and world are making Godfall the worst PS5 Launch Game.

Haven isn't the big RPG revolution but definitely one of the most beautiful games of the year. If you are looking for an emotional title for in-between with an amazing soundtrack to relax or some co-op fun with your partner, you will still get a great experience.

If you are a fan of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you like riddles and don't really care about a good story and characters, you will like what the game has to offer. It's a colourful, amusing world with a lot of riddles and interesting fights packed in a comic version of greek mythology, with everything that ubisofts open worlds had to offer lately. Everyone else should wait for a sale.

The Pathless is surely the most ambitious project so far from Giant Squid and delivers thrilling gameplay elements that shine especially during boss fights. The often empty worlds and repetitive tasks are a bit of letdown but this game should still not be missing in everyones PS5 Library

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity fixes a lot of the problems from the first game and delivers an extremely well done story and world for fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and everyone that still wants to become one in the future. Musou-Fans will miss the tactical component of the genre, but if you can live with some small gameplay missteps, you'll get the best Hyrule Warriors experience so far.

Just Dance 2021 is a game for fans who can't get enough of dancing. Unfortunately, the title doesn't have more to offer either, because the idea from last year to create more playful depth has apparently been discarded again. Seen in this way, apart from the new songs, there is little new to offer, which in the end creates the character of an update rather than that of a full-price videogame. A problem that has been emerging for a long time and with which one is not alone.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War offers on of the best campaigns in years and extends the zombie mode in the right areas. Even if the campaign is extremly short and the new multiplayer modes don't really hit the spot, Call of Duty Fans will get the usual whole package and can hope for free Updates in the future.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the ideal launch title for kids or local co-op rounds with your kids and friends. Also the Soundtrack and the precise controls are amazing, even if the game often lacks some creativity and the story ended up to be pretty generic.

Bluepoint delivers here, just like with Shadow of the Colossus an amazing work of art and shows again how a good remake of such a game has to look like. Demon's Souls is the new display what next-gen should look and feel like and was even optimized gameplay wise at the right parts. If you can live with everything the original was about and even some new challenges, you'll experience the PS5s game of the year.

With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ubisoft ventures into something incredible: Taking the Odyssey formula and reinvent it completely. Players will face a realistic and brutal world with a serious story behind it. Protagonist Eivor and the game world are thoughtfully build with a lot of love for details. An amazing experience that is presentable.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not quite a Spider-Man 2 but it comes pretty close. If you can live with a lot of similar tasks, enemies and easy to see through story twists you'll get here a well made Adventure in the Spider-Man Universe that gives a great inside on the man behind the mask and his struggles.

Yakuza: Lika A Dragon goes a different way but follows what made the series so great. The new protagonist, the story (besides some weak points), the crazy mini games, battle animations, summons and Ichiban Kasuga offer so much fun and action. Some boring dungeons in the middle of the game and balancing issues are the only downsides you should expect. Even if you are not a fan of turn based combat or haven't touched the series yet, you should give this a shot.

Little Hope manages to fix a lot of Man of Medans problems and delivers a great story with surprisingly good Twists. Some areas could use a lot more challenge, variety and creativity but overall the game offers enough for a great halloween/horror evening alone or with friends.

Until now the story of Watch Dogs was an up and down, which doesn't change that much in Watch Dogs: Legion. The energy that went into the unique recruiting mechanic leaves a lot missing in the actual game world and the story, which makes the trip to london a bit cloudy, classic british.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time does more than enough to satisfy oldschool fans of the series but doesn't quite put the series into a moden era of gaming. Overloading effects, missing gameplay variety with the new characters/elements and a big focus on nostalgia holds the game a bit back. Crash Bandicoot will still have a lot of fun with it.

The big step forward remains missing but Fans of FIFA Ultimate Team will find a lot to love in this game. If you have waited for relevant new gameplay features, in Volta or the carreer mode, you should stick with the last two games.
