Daymare: 1988 is a love letter to Oldschool Survival Horror Games that often loses itself in the survival aspect and has sadly besides that not much more to offer than a lot of nostalgia. If you are an Oldschool Resident Evil Fan that is looking for some Challenges you should still get this game.

Devil's Hunt delivers surprisingly good presented fights between heaven and hell which loses quickly nearly all of its appeal because of the generic gameplay. If you can live with clunky gameplay and minimalistic animations and riddles you can still take a look at the game.

In terms of gameplay, WRC 8 goes on par with DiRT Rally 2.0 on the first place, but due to it`s stiff presentation, the partly outdated menu navigation and the high boarding hurdle it still can`t hold on with Codemasters paragon. Fans of rally-sports and detailed driving mechanics should add the title to their collection anyway, due that content and gameplay can convince on the entire line.

eFootball PES 2020 is spinning it's wheels this year again with no groundbreaking additions to existing modes like it's predecessor and doesn't manage to provide enough incentive over the rest of the game to let FIFA finally lie in the shelf for once.

Daemon X Machina delivers massive mecha-action in the style of Armored Core, that in fact sets no new impulses to the genre, has to fight with an actual interesting, but weak presented story and could scare off some new entrants with the loadout-mechanics, but actually plays very well and delivers enough inducement to play it beyond the story mode. Fans of Armored Core and mecha-action in general eventually find enough reasons for a buy.

Greedfall presents itself thanks to an interesting setting and a surprisingly well done story as probably the best game Spiders did so far. Repetitive tasks and the usual technical shortcomings reduce the experience strongly but if you can live with that you'll get a decent Dragon Age replacement

Gears 5 delivers the usual solid co-op experience and offers enough variety in the gameplay-mix over the different modes. Sadly a lot of technical issues, bad level design and a lot of well meant ideas of the developers that didn't really delivered the effect they wanted doesn't make Gears 5 stand that much out compared to Gears of War 4.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered does the job it was set out to do - updating the graphics, adding 'boosting options' and little else. Some additional content would have been nice, but even with that being the case, FF VIII is still the outstanding RPG it was twenty years ago.

Control is definitely the best game of 2019 so far. It is very rare that a Game combines such innovative ideas and gameplay elements with an incredibly interesting setting. If you haven't had the newest project of Remedy Entertainment on your radar you should change that as fast as possible.

The concept behind Man of Medan does not reach its full potential in the singleplayer mode due to the short play time, missed meaningful turning point opportunities and a lot of technical issues but manages to do a lot right in the different multiplayer parts of the game. If you are looking for a good horror evening with friends in front of the TV or online you should give Man of Medan a chance.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is a festival for all fans of the series, no matter when you started. The campaigns are teeming with nostalgic duels and the variety of available cards and duelists make the hearts of fans beat faster. Only the presentation leads to some point deductions, which reduce the fun only slightly.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is an interesting Title with a fascinating Setting and an exciting micromanagement, but due to his repetitive character, the game blocks itself from turning into a potential hit. Friends of survival adventures, who want to have a unique setting, should give the title a try because of the motivating generations-system.

Besides a lack in meaningful detective/police quests you'll get the usual high quality gameplay mix from the studio that fans would expect (If you give the game enough time)

The biggest Fire Emblem yet, the newest console entry delivers on tactical warfare as much as it does on story telling. With three different routes to go down, a large school to explore and so many characters to talk to Three Houses sets the new standard in the genre of strategic RPGs – and a high one it is.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a bold experiment for the series which doesn't fully succeed in what it is trying to achieve. The potential behind the open spaces in the world are instantly thrown over by repetitive tasks and an inconsistent level structure. If you are looking for more Wolfenstein or some quick co-op action with a good story, you'll still have some fun with game.

With this super hero assemble Ultimate Alliance 3 don't have to hide behind the movies. Exploring every new hero, location and rank keeps on getting better and better over the course of the game. If you don't like marvel movies you still get a fun co-op gameplay paired with a lot of variation between the fights. Besides some camera issues and often losing sight of what is going on in the fights you get a good mix between powerful fights and lots of well known faces from the marvel universe.

Kill La Kill -IF- gets the important things for the fans of the anime right with an amazing performance. With the original cutscenes, characters, animations and the soundtrack combined with the expertise of the Dragonball FighterZ developers waits probably one of the best videogame adaptions of an anime so far, if you can live with some lack of content and technical setbacks during the story mode.

Blazing Chrome is a suprisingly massive action orgy, that plays like a spiritual successor to the legendary Contra Hard Corps with a theme from Terminator, which doesn`t bring up anything new on the table, but is simply awesome in its whole execution. A must-buy for fans of Contra and friends of bombastic run and gun action with lots of love in detail.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 technically makes everything right: A nice story combined with motivational mission build ups deliver a great way for creative players to express themselves. The big problems from the last game stay mostly the same: The grind and the lack of variety. If you enjoyed the first game you'll still have a lot of fun with it.

Stranger Things 3: The Game don`t take any new approach in terms of gameplay and has some problem with his animations, but delivers entertaining 16-Bit retrofun with a strong emphasis on the story of the current season and invites you thanks to the well-made gameplay to a session with or without your friends. Fans of the series or classics like Zombies Ate my Neighbors or The Chaos Engine should take a look at this title, but also should bring previous knowledge from the series with them to get the most out of it.
