Between its incredible story, excellent gameplay, and surprisingly fantastic presentation factor, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is yet another masterpiece from CD Projekt Red that pushes the boundaries of game design and proves that anything, even a card game, can be groundbreaking if done well.

Call of Cthulhu's superb atmosphere, writing, and gameplay come together to create an excellent experience that is marred only by a handful of issues with polish and presentation.

Despite some minor issues like stuttering in interiors, awkward camera angles in smaller houses, or the relatively slow start to story the campaign — Red Dead Redemption 2 simply overrides its small perceptible flaws with what is nothing short of a truly spectacular experience. Simply put, it is one of the best games ever made, setting a new standard for open world titles going forward.

Despite these issues, the game is a lot of fun, especially when you're blasting away enemies in thrilling space combat. I just wish its true potential had been realized.

Space Hulk: Tactics is a solid entry to the strategy game category for Xbox One users. The lack of a strong campaign and good progression system are unfortunate, but this doesn't hold the title back from being highly enjoyable. The unique and polished gameplay experience makes it more than worth your time.

The shooting mechanics, ability to switch powers — like Acid or Fire — on the fly, and upgrades make for a truly thrilling experience. There's a lot to love here. I just wish it would cost less.

If you enjoyed Assassin's Creed IV's naval combat and Assassin Creed Origins' shift to an RPG-like progression system, Odyssey is a match made in Elysium. Odyssey does not revolutionize the franchise, but it's a capable entry that will satisfy fans for dozens and dozens of hours.

Wenjia looks visually superb, but the gameplay is too simple and short for the price.

Despite the unimpressive graphics, Fishing Sim World is definitely a game you should get if you like simulators and want to see what a simulated fishing experience is like. Personally it's not really my thing, but I can definitely see people who do like these types of games getting... hooked on it.

If you enjoy space games, exploring the unknown, establishing communications with potential allies and enemies, as well as shooting stuff out of space, you'll enjoy Star Control: Origins. If you're a fan of the previous games in the series, you need to check it out. It's a very polished, well-rounded title.

Despite how grand Forsaken is, exemplary storytelling is a must nowadays. That's where Forsaken truly fails. Even though the expansion features the most diverse content, the poor storytelling brings down the score.

Donut County is, for the most part, an incredibly fun experience from start to finish.

F1 2018, just as with last year's game, is a game worthy of your attention and something fans of the franchise will love. It's stunning to look at, excellent fun to drive in, and the single-player mode has more than enough depth to keep keener players entertained.

There are few games I love as much as World of Warcraft, which is why I'm delivering some tough love to Blizzard, which has a lot of work to do to set Battle for Azeroth on the right path.

If you're looking for a (mostly) peaceful gameplay experience that relaxes you and immerses you into an artificial world, Planet Alpha is definitely for you. The game's length is short, and people that want an action experience will get none of it with Planet Alpha. But aside from that, it's a game that you shouldn't pass up.

With heightened stakes and tension, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will keep you engaged throughout its hours of gameplay. Its limited advancements over previous games should be noted, but the final package is still an unmissable Tomb Raider adventure.

Despite the variety of issues I have with the experience, my friend and I enjoyed our time with it and will likely play it again. However, if you're interested in something more challenging and intense, or simply want something with better presentation, Strange Brigade isn't the title for you. Instead, I would recommend checking out the Left 4 Dead-inspired Earthfall.

It brings the health tycoon game up-to-date with better graphics, enhanced gameplay, and new features. If you're into your sim games — and there are more of them now then ever before — you'll want to check out Two Point Hospital.
