Rage 2 delivers over-the-top, action-packed FPS gameplay that's genuinely fun, but while its combat shines, the rest of the game fails to live up to expectations.
So much of this promising collaboration between id and Avalanche is unremarkable - but it's salvaged by bloody, brilliant combat.
