Modern games are all about the player experience, but Octopath Traveler 2 isn't. If you change your mindset and take the time to experience it, you can feel the magic that keeps people hooked despite its awkwardness. It's like a thick adventure book, with exciting content no matter when you open it, and once you close it, you won't miss it too much. Octopath Traveler 2 is indeed a game that chooses its players, and I am happy to go back and forth with it.

The PC version makes Returnal's controls more flexible, but it's not enough to change the frustration of dying. The rollercoaster ride of a thrilling battle, only to be plunged into a painful cycle of dying and dying again because of a single mishap, can be a real test of the player's mental capacity.

Corpse Keeper doesn't just have a unique art style, it also has more hardcore content. It looks like a side-scrolling fighting game, but the core gameplay is completely different from fighting, and as a roguelike, it's also in the higher difficulty range. While there are some design balance issues with the current version, it's still a challenging experience. For those who enjoy Sekiro-style combat and resource management in the vein of Darkest Dungeons, Corpse Keeper is indeed a worthy effort.

Souls of Chronos is a fair JRPG in a small package, with a good story and detailed writing. Unfortunately, due to the size of the game, almost all of the systems seem a little sketchy, and it's hard to say which part shines.

Hogwarts Legacy is probably the best Harry Potter game out there. Hogwarts and the wizarding world are very faithful to the original, and each quest is designed to make the content rich, but not deep enough.

The Xbox version of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition retains all of the game's content while making huge changes to the operating system and user interface. These changes have greatly reduced the startup threshold and improved the game experience. It is not only a very successful version, but also an excellent answer to the "can console play RTS" question.

Hi-Fi RUSH combines rhythm games and action games in a fantastic way, and the overall experience is beyond imagination.

Brave's Rage is a DBG card game with some depth. Its unique real-time combat system is very clever and can give players a good change of pace, but the game has not shown much potential and the design is quite boring. In version 1.0, the map and mechanics of the game have become richer, but the types of random events are still somewhat lacking.

Although almost all of Dead Space Remake's core features are from 14 years ago, the experience as a whole has not aged and is a true masterpiece. Not only does it manage to give players a near-perfect space survival horror experience, but the concept of the game design is also a classic.

Fire Emblem Engage is a treat for retro fans. It retains the best of the GBA title, with excellent level design and a rich combat system. But the story is very dumb, making it the game's biggest weakness. Fortunately, Fire Emblem Engage itself is still fun enough for anyone with a passion for SRPGs to have a good time.

As a new title from Luminous Productions six years after FFXV, Forspoken continues to show the shortcomings of its open-world design. The abundance of magical combat and the still-excellent story make up for most of these shortcomings. However, the hopes for a fantastic magical world cannot be fulfilled.

If you are a fan of both One Piece and classic JRPGs, then One Piece: Odyssey is not bad. It has restored the original plot well and has built vivid characters. However, the experience of playing it may not be a pleasure due to some outdated design.

Depersonalization may be the best COC simulator for now. It has an attractive art style and feminization of other gods. Not only does making changes to the COC rules, but it also retains its original essence. What's more, it expands some gameplays that are more suitable for video games. Players can explore the world freely, and have some quite strategic battles. However, there are still some problems with the game's dice system and novice guidance which need further optimizing.

Crisis Core: Reunion is much better than expected. it provided authentic content for players with great graphics and combat system. It's still a must-play masterpiece for "FF7" fans. It can be said that "Reunion" provides an almost perfect version for old players who want to replay "Crisis Core". For new players starting from "FF7 Remake" and wanting to know more about the story, now is the best time to experience it.

The upgrade of image performance, the improvement of settings, the adaptation of different platforms, and the excellent localization work. The next-generation version of "The Witcher 3" has made great progress after a series of updates. CDPR successfully turned this "former masterpiece" into a "present masterpiece", making it rejuvenate.

As a space-style "farming" game, "IXION" presented a cold space world and the space station "Tai Kun". It is not only home for players, but also a carrier for exploration and advancement. The experience of wandering in space with home is quite unique. But beyond this, "IXION" did not bring more surprises to the players. The imperfect details, fast pace in the early and mid-term, and some unreasonable difficulty settings make players easily frustrated.

As a "survival" game, Fat Shark games has absorbed a lot of successful experience from Vermintide. Darktide inherited the classic "cooperation + grinding" gameplay, it has shown good quality in the plot; game settings; and background music, but the annoying network, poor optimization, mistranslation and half-finished equipment system also dragged down the game experience of players. I hope that Fat Shark games can solve these problems in the future updates, so that I can continue the journey of "killing mice" nicely.

Need for Speed: Unbound can be regarded as a very special work by every means. It combines street racing and police chasing together, using comic-style visual effects and exciting music make people addicted to every corner of the city. Although it has obvious problems with difficulty control and currency system, this does not have much influence on the game experience. When I drove all kinds of modified vehicles with cool paint roaring on the streets of Lakeshore, all the troubles in my heart were swept away along with the roadblocks ahead.

The Callisto Protocol is a very delicate Dead Space-like game: excellent horror atmosphere, outstanding graphics, and a fairly good combat experience, but the actual content is difficult to meet the high expectations of players. I was very disappointed after playing it, because it's hard to imagine such a highly anticipated work being so mediocre, it could have been a better game.

Marvel Midnight Suns show a unique understanding of strategic game, making the combat gameplay under the card system more addictive than ever. Each system is coupled so well together that you'll be plunged into it for dozens of hours without realizing it. For fans of Marvel superheroes, it's like a well-curated feast.
