Final Fantasy VII Remake boasts an incredibly fun combat system under a fantastic soundtrack and beautiful visuals. Unfortunately, the writing does not do its narrative any favors, and the game released with a fair share of issues.

The Outer Worlds does a good job at filling the gap left by the Fallout series after its recent controversies. The game shines in its roleplay and dialogue. I loved every second I spent on Halycon, but I can't help but feel that there's an untapped potential the developers could've put more time into. Hopefully a possible sequel should raise the quality of many of its aspects, especially the narrative and combat.

The changes they have added to the game have made it much more enjoyable, and much clearer to play as a manager. The expectations have been set in stone for you with the club vision. You have gained a clearer view of your younger players with the youth development screen, and as always, the game has improved over the last installment. With the current winter update out as well, I would recommend getting this game now and enjoying your management career, especially if you get it with together with a friend.

DOOM Eternal is an upgrade of its predecessor in every aspect. The violent and energetic combat encounters at the sound of Mick Gordon's tracks are as fun as they are satisfying. Few games have left me this exhausted (in a good way) as DOOM Eternal. And after I finished it, I asked for more. It's without a doubt in my mind one of the best first person shooters of this generation, and a strong candidate for game of the year.

Unfortunately, without the VR component and someone younger to share the experience, Luna is difficult to review. However, its interactive fairy tale presentation is supported by an aesthetic that recalls a childlike and tactile feeling, a haunting and serene soundtrack along with a gripping narration and simple puzzles. Luna is an easy recommendation if you have a sibling or a child or if you want to introduce someone to games.

If you don't own any of the previous editions of SFV, this is a great time to get into the game. The Champion Edition offers the definitive Street Fighter V experience with the best value for the content you get.

It's hard to avoid the cliché "This game is not for everyone" when reviewing Death Stranding. It's equally hard to recommend it to anyone who doesn't like to walk a lot in video games. Even so, if you're open to new experiences in AAA games, you might be surprised, as long as you don't expect good writing and short cutscenes. Finishing the game after about 40 hours, I can say that it was mostly a solid experience with engaging, polished gameplay, excellent sountrack and stunning visuals.

Steel Division is an excellent military simulator game. It grants the user the ability of tactical decisions, has an engaging single player campaign and an exciting multiplayer mode where you can really test yourself against your friends or strangers to see who the true military mastermind is. The graphics are very pleasing, the music is fitting however sometimes a bit repetitive, the sound effects fit excellently to the game and the theme of the surroundings. Overall, it’s a good game, and when overcoming the learning curve will provide the player with a solid military simulation experience.

Void Bastards is definitely worth a try. The visual creativity and gameplay make this for a positive experience for casual players, although most rogue-like players will hardly be impressed. Despite the low replay value, the first 8 to 10 hours of the game are some of the best experiences we've had this year.

MediEvil is a loyal remake to the 1998's classic, and with that fidelity comes several issues from the PS1 era, like the aged camera and platforming. Yet, there's at least 8 hours of fun to be had with its simple combat and charming atmosphere. Which makes it a must buy for the fans of the original work.

"Slay the Spire" is a devastating and addictive game, accompanied by a formidable soundtrack. The search for synergy between cards and relics to defeat the Spire, whether it is with or without the Ascension mode conditions, encourage each victory and each defeat. The game is an easy recommendation, in particular, if you enjoy the tactical layer of card games like Magic: the Gathering and the adversities of the roguelite genre.

Blasphemous is a merciless Metroidvania with a satisfying combat, despite the weak platforming, its boss fights are extremely entertaining and the art style is amazing, as it establishes a very engaging setting.

Control boasts a challenging, satisfying and fun combat. The Oldest House is a visually stunning piece of design that'll make you want to explore and find every bit of lore about its world and the intriguing story of Jesse and Dylan Faden. Despite not being free of flaws (especially performance wise on consoles), Remedy Games was able to build one of the best games of the year.

Remnant: From the Ashes is a good game with fun combat and a lot of replayability thanks to the variety of boss battles and equipment allied to its gameplay loop. However, some problems and some badly executed aspects (especially the level design) stop Gunfire Games' RPG from reaching its full potential.

Days Gone is a mixed bag. Oregon is beautiful, and the impact of the freakers on the world dynamics are quite thrilling. The driving and shooting are pretty satisfying, and the game has enough content to last 50-60 hours in a normal playthrough. But even though the game is fun, it is not without quite a few flaws that reduces its quality.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid is easy to learn and fun to play and the different play styles on the characters make up for the lack of variety. However, the game still lacks enough content to justify playing it for more than a few hours. As a fighting game, the core is fine, but it needs a lot of improving.

Imperator is a strong instalment to the Paradox catalogue. It has a much stronger military focus than other Paradox games, and though it implements many mechanics of other Paradox titles, it can be somewhat limited in options for the player. The music, visuals and warfare are a major plus point however.

Desert Child's final outcome is not enough to secure a completely satisfying experience. While its game play can be pleasant, but equally limited. After several hours its game play loop ends up disappointing and the initial curiosity to explore its beautiful city and mechanics loses itself on what is a forgettable quest, despite the excellent soundtrack.

Thronebreaker is CDPR's first non traditional RPG. The studio knew how to capitalize their abilities creating an interactive narrative experience with a cativating plot and characters, and a deep, well designed card game as its core. However, I noticed a bit of difficulty on creating significant consequences or adversity imposed on the player, unable to make each playthrough feel different from the last.
