UFC 4 is the best MMA game to date, but that's partly because of a lack of competition from other developers. As is to be expected from a game that's part of a series, EA doesn't invent the wheel but improves gradually on its own formula. The evolution points, career mode, clinch possibilities and some other new features are nice, but is it enough to justify its price tag? We doubt it.

Microsoft Flight Simulator truly brings next-gen to the masses with its extremely accurate procedurally generated world and dynamic weather system. Its mainstream appeal is sure to attract many newcomers to the world of flight simulation, which had gone stale for a while. A breath of fresh air in the endless stream of sequels and roller coaster ride action of games in 2020.

This first episode of the new Dontnod trilogy story is a bit of a slow starter but sets a beautiful scene of little-town Alaska where twins Tyler and Alyson grew up. The game brings everything we expect from a Dontnod game: exploration, tough decisions, and puzzles combined with the supernatural and more than one complex and difficult relationship.

The Battletoads are back from the dead. With an all-new graphics scheme and cool new features, the brawler lets you take the role of Zitz, Pimple, and Rash once again. The game offers over-the-top chaotic fights for up to three players. Next to that Battletoads honors, it's rooted by bringing in elements from other genres, like platformers and shmups. The humor is hilarious, but unfortunately, there are also a few weaker elements in the game that cramp its style.

No Straight Roads is a rock game that delivers in terms of variation. At least in the levels and the different boss fights. In terms of enemies, the game lacks a few miles and the dialogues of the game tend to get a little annoying because of the screaming main character. Still, this is a game you should definitely play. For just under 40 euros you get six hours of entertaining gameplay full of colors and a very strong soundtrack!

Skully is a platformer that challenges and entertains you. The game lets you die a lot, but never in an unfair way. The game's physics are always on point which pushes you to keep an eye on the little skull all the time. Solve puzzles with three other characters and roll, jump, bash and dash your way to the lairs of four gods in this indie game.

Railway Empire is a great game that will keep players entertained for hours on end thanks to the huge amount of content and the way it calms your mind. The AI has some huge problems, however, which can detract from the overall enjoyment.

CrossCode is a fine 2D action RPG thanks to its challenging combat and excellent puzzles. It music and characters are also great, but the game is lacking in pacing. There are also some annoying bugs that should have been fixed.

Huntdown is a tribute to eighties movies and games. It combines the action from titles as Streets of Rage and movies like The Warriors and Last Action Hero in a side-scrolling shooter, which is best enjoyed in co-op. That way the game really gets to shine and entertain you with all its glory. Shooting hundreds of enemies in four worlds never was so much fun together, even if there are a few things off balance at some moments.

Fairy Tail is finally on consoles and PC with a full-fledged RPG. The fanservice in this one is great for everyone. The fights are over the top with all the magic happening everywhere and the world takes you to a lot of different places. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of different enemies and the guild board missions are all similar after a while. Still, the game invites you to explore everything until you reach the spectacular ending and then some!

Shmup Collection bundles three unique shoot-em-ups in one collection. The three games are very different from each other but have one thing in common: They make you sweat bullets. Two of the three games are remastered, but one only got ported to the Switch. Next to that two of the games are short. Luckily the unique elements make you come back for more time after time. If your heart beats faster with bullet hell games, this is the collection you want.

There is just no way around it: Iron Man VR is a disappointment. While it feels great to fly around like Iron Man, the gameplay gets stale very quickly. On top of that, the load times are unbearable, which is a shame because the story is quite enjoyable.

A tactical Warhammer 40K game that is true to its board game origins, offering a deep and intriguing storyline with many possible tactical choices, and where the clock is omnipresent. The game offers a lot of atmospheres, only marred by its current buggy state. If these bugs can be squashed postrelease, the game is a treat for the fans of the tactical genre, although maybe a bit on the easy side.

In the end Paper Mario The Origami King is a fine game, but throughout the years Nintendo has delivered games that are way better. If the game was a bit more challenging it would have gone a long way for the overall enjoyment.

Sucker Punch has the honor of bringing us the last PS4 exclusive with Ghost of Tsushima. The game delivers an immense adventure of more than 30 hours, based on a true war. The battles, the environment, the animation, all look amazing. Still, it misses an original touch in its gameplay. Next to that, the battles tend to be the same once you get the hang of the stances.

Catherine Full Body throws you into the most puzzling affair you could ever imagine. This action-adventure puzzle games about the ups and downs of relationships captivate from start to finish thanks to its creative story and its difficult yet fun puzzles. The only downside is that the camera and the controls are a bit slippery in this Switch version.

The Fallout 76 Wastelanders update might be the salvation of the game. The free expansion finally adds NPCs to the world and adds a lot of new content. Bethesda also improved the graphics, in particular the lighting system. It's still not technically perfect however and the new additions come with their own problems. Still, the Wastelanders update is a giant leap for Fallout 76.

Even though the Isle of Armor reintroduces 210 new Pokémon and provides a new and easier way to get certain items and upgrades, its story is too short and not entertaining to really prove itself worthy. However you are a big Pokémon fan and just want to capture more of them, this DLC will probably do the job for you.

SpongeBob's renewed adventure is the return of an iconic platformer we all once embraced. The game looks good and refers to a lot of hilarious situations from the cartoons. You simply can't help to smile a lot during the game, but the controls are not nearly as good. They are barely touched and feel outdated which makes the game less good than an average patty.
