If CD Projekt Red had to make amends for the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077, they certainly have done that with Phantom Liberty. Simply preem.
Whether you want an awesome teambuilding session at a low cost, to bond with your friends and family, or just have a relaxing period of fun after a long day, Party Animals is a great way to do it. When you stack up the minuscule cost and download size against the massive replayability and fun potential, the decision to jump in becomes a no-brainer.
With all its strengths and a couple of notable weaknesses, Lies of P is a great game on our rating scale. It features such a dark, wonderfully crafted world that has plenty to offer to both souls like veterans and newcomers to this challenging genre.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is a captivating mech combat simulation that will engage you with its immensely enjoyable gameplay while also frustrating you with its challenging difficulty and frequent deaths.
Sea of Stars is a pixel-art turn-based RPG that evokes memories of bygone gaming eras while delivering a distinctive experience immersed in a captivating narrative and very engaging gameplay.
Blasphemous 2 brings a stunning grotesque world to explore and stories that will haunt you long after you complete this truly remarkable action-platformer.
Speaking honestly, I tend to be the kind of individual who views the glass as half full and strives to unearth the positives in any situation. However, even with my sincere efforts to identify merits within Skye Tales, I find myself facing significant challenges.
Minus the periodic CTD issues, Shadow Gambit was one hell of a treasure hunt that took the cursed pirate fantasy and made the most of it. While perfection is unattainable, this game came really close to it and the good times are a promise to anyone willing to join the Marley and her crew.
I really wanted to like Gord but sadly, despite an interesting concept and ideas, the execution comes off frustratingly disappointing and shallow.
Atlas Fallen is an action-adventure RPG that evokes a sense of nostalgia for classic hits while also infusing the genre with a refreshing and unique touch.
If you have a fondness for engaging shooting mechanics, visually stunning landscapes, and well-designed enemies, along with a certain level of tolerance for Souls-like games, then Remnant 2 is unquestionably the perfect game for you.
Starting with a few hiccups, Jagged Alliance 3 quickly becomes a very good way to spend one's time and just doesn't loosen the grip until you finish it. Sometimes not even then.
If you value an exceptionally well-crafted story that rivals the depth of a compelling novel and are willing to approach Oxenfree II: Lost Signals with an open mind, setting aside conventional expectations of a typical video game, then this game comes highly recommended. Its strengths lie in its storytelling prowess, making it a worthwhile experience for those seeking a captivating narrative.
With some of the most satisfying and electrifying racing that video games have to offer, F1 23 represents the true pinnacle of the long-running Formula 1 simulation series.
Layers of Fear tells an incredible story of mental illness and tragic events set in a stunningly detailed world that won't scare you as much as you might expect.
With a set of fantastic accessibility features, a new dynamic weather system and thrilling career mode, MotoGP 23 is well worth representing the world's fastest motorcycle racing series.
Despite some obvious flaws, Redfall is still an enjoyable experience even if you don't have a buddy or two to help you out in staking those bloodsuckers in co-op. Arkane once again managed to create an immersive, atmospheric world with their signature environmental storytelling and gameplay. While Redfall definitely isn't the studio's strongest game to date and can feel a bit undercooked I couldn't put it down as I had a blast wandering around the vampire-infested streets and countryside of this cosy American town.
Dead Island 2 is everything its predecessor shined at and much, much more. This zombie shooter from Deep Silver brings us Los Angeles like we've never seen it before, full of beautiful landscapes, celebrities to rescue, and zombies to slay.
Do I recommend the game? At the price of ~£35 / $40 / €40, you will get a decent bang for your buck with the PvP component having the potential to provide even more. If you have Game Pass, this is an automatic recommendation since there is no extra cost for you. Even if you aren't subscribed at this time, it is more than worth a month's subscription to experience Minecraft Legends.
Tchia is a game with therapeutic gameplay, especially while sailing and free-roaming in the game's beautiful open world. Despite the fact that the story and gameplay are nothing special, the game's cartoon-like artistic graphics, excellent sounds, and beautiful tropical atmosphere make it very good, and it will definitely deliver more than enough for the price of $30.
