If Stalker 2 didn't have so many serious performance issues and bugs, it would be my Game of the Year. It has a great story, memorable characters, a unique world to explore, and great visual presentation - pretty much everything to keep you immersed for hours.

If you're a MechWarrior series fan, you won't be disappointed with MechWarrior 5: Clans. This is a game you've been waiting for; made with passion and love and that's truly visible at every corner. For newcomers, there's a lot of fun to be had here too so definitely give it a go if you have an active Game Pass subscription.

97 / 100 - Frostpunk 2
Sep 17, 2024

Frostpunk 2 is an absolutely incredible game, a true shining masterpiece with a unique setting, mechanics and addicting gameplay loop. Since it's also on Game Pass, I'm recommending it even to players who aren't really into these types of games. You won't regret it.

On paper, Star Wars Outlaws has all the necessary elements to be a great open-world action-adventure but sadly, these elements never come together in a way that would create an engaging gameplay experience.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is From Software's finest work yet with best-in-class combat, world design and exploration. Add stunning bosses that eclipse those of the base game and a whole slate of fantastic dungeons, weapons and armour and you have one of the greatest if not the greatest expansion ever made.

In a nutshell, South Park: Snow Day! is a great game that offers plenty of the classic South Park humour on top of engaging and fun combat and an interesting main story. While it's quite short and strongly focuses on co-op which some may find as a drawback, I still think it's worth the 29,99€ price point.

60 / 100 - The Thaumaturge
Mar 4, 2024

The Thaumaturge was one of the games that I was really looking forward to but ultimately, it failed to meet my expectations. Despite an interesting demon-taming concept, nice-looking visuals and an atmospheric setting, I found the story to be lacking with a very slow and dull presentation that made the game feel more like a chore than something enjoyable.

75 / 100 - Forza Motorsport
Oct 4, 2023

Forza Motorsport is a great starting point for the new era of this popular racing franchise. While it's far from perfect and has plenty of room for improvement, it's a very good racing game that has plenty of identity and qualities.

If CD Projekt Red had to make amends for the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077, they certainly have done that with Phantom Liberty. Simply preem.

I really wanted to like Gord but sadly, despite an interesting concept and ideas, the execution comes off frustratingly disappointing and shallow.

70 / 100 - Redfall
May 2, 2023

Despite some obvious flaws, Redfall is still an enjoyable experience even if you don't have a buddy or two to help you out in staking those bloodsuckers in co-op. Arkane once again managed to create an immersive, atmospheric world with their signature environmental storytelling and gameplay. While Redfall definitely isn't the studio's strongest game to date and can feel a bit undercooked I couldn't put it down as I had a blast wandering around the vampire-infested streets and countryside of this cosy American town.

60 / 100 - Scars Above

78 / 100 - Hogwarts Legacy
Feb 6, 2023

I guess the level of enjoyment you get out of Hogwarts Legacy depends on your knowledge of the Harry Potter universe. The more you love this world the more you’ll enjoy Hogwarts Legacy. It’s as simple as that. This doesn’t mean that there’s nothing here for those who are just getting started with Harry Potter or just want a fantasy world to explore - there certainly is - but Hogwarts Legacy truly feels like a love letter to the fans of J.K Rowling’s work, above all.

100 / 100 - Hi-Fi Rush
Jan 26, 2023

Hi-Fi Rush has pretty much everything that makes a video game fun and even more importantly it's not trying to be overly precise and challenging like many other rhythm-based games. It's a complete package that hits the right notes over and over again, proving that big publishers should just let developers create games they really want to create.

The Callisto Protocol simply isn't scary, doesn't play well and has nothing to hook you into its world. It's a poor excuse for a horror game and you're better off waiting for Dead Space Remake than spending $70 on this one.

50 / 100 - Gungrave G.O.R.E
Nov 22, 2022

Gungrave G.O.R.E should've stayed in the 2000s. Its simplistic design doesn't work in the modern day of video games where similar action titles offer much more than just brutal combat. G.O.R.E lacks depth in almost every single way. Its level design is stuck in the past, visuals are outdated and gameplay just doesn't do enough to make this a title worth your time.
