Watch Dogs: Legion tries something new and it serves as both the game’s biggest strength and a small weakness as the amount of variety at every turn makes this a game players will constantly want to sink time into.
Shantae: Risky’s Revenge still holds up well, and despite the fact that we have seen it ported before, its inclusion on the Switch was executed with love and finesse.
Ben 10: Power Trip is honestly a fun, innocent game that shows the developers at least cared enough to create something special.
Nexomon: Extinction features a great story and some unique changes to a familiar formula that both help and hinder the experience, making it something great for fans of the genre but not quite up to the level of a certain series.
Crash 4: It’s About Time isn’t as much of a rebirth as it is a reminder. The Crash games were a lot of fun and many were able to get into platformers through this franchise alone.
Tell Me Why features a compelling mystery that loses its depth the longer the story progresses but its strong characters and solid puzzles prove that Dontnod hasn’t missed a step.
Giraffe and Annika may be a bit too simple for its own good but its childlike charm makes for a light and delightful adventure game.
While it's one of the better stories in the franchise, the terrible mission design hobbles the DLC. This is not the DLC Borderlands 3 deserved to go out on.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is a shining example of how a game should be remade. While there are a few issues related to the PC port, animation quality, and how well the gameplay has aged; the updates were focused on maintaining the spirit of game while bringing it into the modern era.
Serious Sam 4 may not differ too much from its norm but it brings the high-paced frantic FPS action that fans love to an entirely new level.
WWE Battlegrounds is not a bad game at its core. The combat is over-the-top, campy, and fun, and it achieves its ability to be satisfying by at least capturing the feel for the roster within overall.
A solid third person action title that could use a little bump in high quality content.
While still a solid basketball game, NBA 2K21 doesn’t bring enough new to the table this year and instead focuses more on constant grind for VC.
Although Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition delivers an incredibly lengthy story and great combat, far too many bugs and troublesome kingdom mechanics can suck some of the fun from this table top RPG brought to console.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater: 1+2 was the best take on its genre three generations ago, and it is back to take its throne as the finest example of a skating game today.
While I expected a bit more regarding the visuals of the remaster, the gameplay and atmosphere are still as good as ever.
Project Cars 3 is a great racing title that is sure to satisfy people who are ready to hop in, grind some races, and customize their own experience.
Kandagawa Jet Girls is a solid but too easy arcade racer that doesn’t quite deliver on fan-service but still manages to offer a great collection of characters.
Destroy All Humans! is a fun and modernized action game that is held back by its 2005 design structure.
Wasteland 3 is a rich RPG experience, offering unprecedented flexibility in combat and story choices.
