Such a detailed and expansive world, which captures the flair of the Middle Ages so beautifully, does not exist anywhere else. There are magnificent castles, huge army camps and tranquil villages where I would love to settle down.

Is the game fun? Yes. Is it in any way innovative? No. If you love the series and just want to keep blasting Nazis to kingdom come - then you'll definitely have fun here. But, if you're looking for new and exciting twists to the worn-out formula, you'll be disappointed.

“The Stone of Madness” impresses with its intelligent gameplay and atmospheric visual presentation. Unfortunately, the controls are sometimes poorly thought out and caused me a lot of frustration. There are also bugs and glitches, as well as a sometimes confusing camera perspective. Too bad, with a little more fine-tuning “The Stone of Madness” could have been quite something.

I loved “Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights” and I love “Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist” even more. The game is not a revolutionary Metroidvania in terms of gameplay, but it is a highly polished one. The same goes for the excellent presentation: the sublime soundtrack and the dark 2D world create a stunning atmosphere. The end times have never been so beautiful.

“Donkey Kong Country Returns HD” is a gem of a 2D platformer, and I recommend it for old fans and newcomers alike. The simple controls shine thanks to a brilliant level design that regularly provides variety and presents creative ideas.

Dynasty Warriors Origins offers by far the most epic battles I have ever seen in a video game. The scale of the clashes with thousands of warriors fighting each other is breathtaking. My actions as a one-man army feel immensely satisfying thanks to well-designed controls and a fun selection of weapons. The strategic elements spice up the colossal battles with a welcome dash of strategy. However, the audiovisual presentation outside of the battles is somewhat disappointing. The monotonous mission design can also become somewhat tiring later on in the game - despite the seeming variety provided by the large number of unlockable items and skills. Overall, however, these are minor points of criticism. If you are even vaguely interested in action strategy games, you should not miss out on “Dynasty Warriors Origins”.

“Spirit of the Samurai” feels unfinished. A lot of gameplay elements feel half-baked – especially the annoying platformer passages. The story didn't grab me either, although the dark setting in feudal Japan would actually be right up my street. In the end, the stop-motion look is by far the best aspect of the game. And that alone is not enough for me to recommend it.

Unfortunately, “Behemoth” disappointed me a lot. The simple level design is boring with little interactivity and dull puzzles. The fights and climbing passages are marred by tedious controls. The game also suffers from numerous technical problems, ranging from amusing glitches to serious bugs. The only bright spot is the spectacularly staged battles against the titular Behemoths – even if there isn't much gameplay substance behind the spectacle.

For 32 years, Lucas Arts' “Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis” has been considered the best game adaptation of the legendary film series. This honor is now due to “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”. Machine Games succeeds in perfectly capturing the sense of adventure, charm and wit of Harrison Ford's famous character.

With “Fantasian Neo Dimension”, “Final Fantasy” creator Hironobu Sakaguchi brings the feeling of the old PS1 JRPGs into the present day. Despite the obvious inspiration, the game doesn't feel outdated thanks to more modern gameplay elements, but on the contrary modern and challenging.

“Fitness Boxing 3” has managed to motivate me to do a little exercise during my lunch break at home. While I tend to have to pull myself together for my YouTube workouts, I feel playfully entertained and motivated here. After all, I'm constantly unlocking new punches, workouts and skins.

“Empire of the Ants” takes the player into a breathtaking world powered by Unreal Engine 5, which captures the fascination of insect life in an impressive way. The gameplay offers a mixture of real-time strategy and platform elements, which provides variety. However, the pace of the battles feels a little sluggish and the AI of the enemies could be more sophisticated. The campaign provides a solid foundation for the game, but lacks in-depth characters and a compelling story. The repetitive tasks and slow pace of progress can slow down long-term motivation.

“Lego Horizon Adventures” is by far the most beautiful Lego game. The world is made entirely of Lego bricks and impresses with its attention to detail and beautiful lighting. A dream come true for Lego fans. Unfortunately, the fun but overly simple combat system and the boring level design cannot keep up with the high level of graphics.

“Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake” does justice to the original in all respects. The visual and acoustic presentation is simply brilliant. The few additions to the story make sense and don't distort the spirit of the original – even if its storytelling feels a bit old-fashioned. The new quality of life features in the menus and during battle are a welcome addition. Though, I would have liked the option to switch off the random battles completely.

Farming Simulator 2025 is the most comprehensive and visually beautiful farming simulator available. I also recommend the game as an upgrade to its predecessor, even if not much has changed in terms of gameplay.

“Mario & Luigi: Brothership” takes a while to get going and sometimes suffers from mediocre side missions and unnecessary backtracking. But if you show patience and stick with it, you will be rewarded with one of the best and most beautiful “Mario & Luigi” games to date.

“Life is Strange: Double Exposure” kept me glued to the screen until the very end. Unfortunately, some small bugs, together some immersion-breaking moments, kept tearing me out of the experience. Still, fans of the series can pick it up without hesitation. But newcomers will also be sufficiently taken in by the new murder mystery.

Rarely have I been so surprised by a game as I was by “Black Ops 6”. The single-player campaign impresses with varied locations and missions that constantly surprise me with new ideas and gameplay mechanics. By alternating between linear levels and open game areas with lots of freedom, the game offers almost perfect pacing. The quieter espionage and puzzle moments, which are atypical for a “Call of Duty” game, are particularly commendable. After the bombastic single-player campaign, I can hardly wait to get into the multiplayer modes.

“Super Mario Party: Jamboree” is lovingly designed and offers a wide range of activities. The game has brought me incredible amounts of "frustrating fun" – especially with the new Jamboree partners. And that's exactly what I love about Mario Party.
