Elementallis is more than just a mechanical and visual homage to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past; it is a respect-worthy adventure that manages to stand on its own feet thanks to its excellent and creative elemental combination system. Although it stumbles slightly in minor sound design details and the lack of localization for Portuguese, the title far compensates with a vast world, clever puzzles, a good amount of challenge, and a nostalgia factor that justifies every penny of its extremely inviting price. If you are looking for an epic journey with the flavor of the 16-bit era to play on your Switch’s handheld mode, this game deserves a spot in your library.

In my view, Starbites is a simple RPG aimed at attracting a new audience with its beloved character, which could work. The character, story, and game progression are appealing, but the low difficulty and bugs cause the game to lose points on the evaluation scale. However, NIS America managed to create a satisfying gaming experience, as Starbites shines when it comes to customizing group synergies to overcome challenges. And if you’re willing to give it a chance and don’t expect an RPG with absurd next-gen graphics, I believe Starbites will provide a rewarding RPG experience.

Bubsy 4D is a real evolution for a franchise that truly needed one. Fabraz brought personality, structure, and some creative ideas, but the clunky movement, unpredictable physics, and lack of Portuguese localization take their toll. In a market where Mario Odyssey, Astro Bot, and Donkey Kong Bananza set the standard, being an “okay” platformer in 2026 isn’t enough to find its place in the sun. That’s fine for fans of the bobcat. For everyone else, the bar is set too high.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch 2 is one of those miraculous ports that shows exactly what the console is capable of when truly competent technical work is involved. Even with some graphical limitations and 30 FPS gameplay, MachineGames managed to preserve all the cinematic atmosphere, exploration, and sense of adventure present in the versions for more powerful consoles. This game is definitely worth playing, especially if you’re a fan of the franchise or enjoy games focused on exploration, mysteries, and archaeological discoveries.

What seemed destined for genericism reveals itself to be an experience with its own identity, driven by Diana, a character who transforms both the narrative and the gameplay. South of Midnight is an experience that stands out much more for its identity than for its gameplay. With a sensitive narrative, striking art direction, an exceptional soundtrack, and a perfect port for Nintendo’s hybrid console, the game builds a unique world full of personality. Although the combat and structure rely on safe and sometimes repetitive ideas, Hazel’s journey manages to sustain itself through the strength of its atmosphere and the care with which its story is told. It may not impress in terms of mechanics, but it delivers something increasingly rare: an experience with soul.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is the pinnacle of a good story within a ‘catch monster’ game that explains and gives meaning to the ‘breed’ mechanics and truly makes the whole world come alive. Fun, well localized, providing many hours of gameplay with a lot of agility and possibilities, it is undoubtedly the best game of the genre so far! If you don’t know the others, you can start with this one; if you already know them, don’t let this one pass!

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a competent compilation that rescues a different and often underrated phase of the franchise with the care it deserves. With several quality-of-life improvements, customization options, and an excellent adaptation of the two screens, the package delivers the most complete way to revisit the trilogy. Even so, its origins are evident: the slower pace, extensive tutorials, and simpler combat may not appeal to everyone. For fans, it’s a must-play; for new players, it might not be the best starting point, but it’s still worth checking out.

The qualities of Estrange Overlord are clear, despite the limitations in gameplay, such as the limited number of combat forms and the lack of a Spanish translation. The game wins through its incredible narrative and charisma. The art by Shinichi Otsuka and the work of Sohei Niikawa compensated in this project. The game could have made better use of its music, which I thought would have been more beneficial in-game, but despite minor stumbles, the game remains worthy and delivers everything it sets out to deliver.
