Critic Reviews for Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer
Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer may not actually train the player to be an effective boxer, but it is a fun way to burn some calories and get the heart rate elevated.
The awful music aside, Fitness Boxing 3 brings some much-needed variety to what could have been another by-the-numbers release with new songs and not much else. The Sit Fit Boxing and Mitt Drills modes give options to those who want to be less or more active respectively, and the extra trainer options are ideal for players who like to pretend they're dealing with an actual person. And even better, because Mitt Drills isn't rhythm-based, you can put your headphones on and listen to your own tunes.
Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer offers some solid exercises and a comfortable difficulty curve to help people of all fitness levels.
Fitness Boxing 3 is a good complement for those who want to exercise with their console and add more routines, apart from going to the gym. It is more complete and varied than the previous installment, although it still has aspects that can be improved, starting with the scarcity of some options (variety of scenarios) or a crappy soundtrack full of MIDI covers.

While the best fitness games are designed for people who play video games, Fitness Boxing 3 feels like it was made for non-gamers who may happen to have a Switch in their home. Sure, it gets you moving, but there’s not much there to make the idea of exercising first thing in the morning remotely appealing.
I really like Fitness Boxing 3 as a training tool. I've been incorporating it into my workout routine getting my cardio in the morning with Fitness Boxing 3, and then doing my weights at lunchtime for a more complete experience. If you're looking for a fun way to start moving, then this could well be it.
If you're looking for a fun fitness routine that you can easily do at home, then Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer. Not only does it incentivise you to return every day, but the exercises you will be doing will get your heart racing. While it shouldn't replace going to a gym, nor will it make you a professional boxer, it will give you a workout based on your needs and abilities and you can change it to your heart's content.
Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer continues to push the series' presentation and accessibility options but can't quite overcome the inherently limited range of exercises the Joy-Con can offer it. Light and fun enough for a beginner, it's more fitness toy than fitness trainer.
