The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is a genuine video game that exudes personality and boasts a multi-layered narrative and plots capable of blowing the player’s mind, stimulating and rewarding their curiosity, reasoning, and mechanical skills. With HD-2D graphics that evoke heartwarming nostalgia and a phenomenal soundtrack that enhances the emotional factor of this adventure, the versatility of the various weapons, combined with Faie’s abilities and the magicite build system, results in one of the most enjoyable experiences that the year 2026 has to offer; a masterpiece with fluid mechanics and a gameplay rhythm very well paced by the story and exploration that compels us to say: thank you, Team Asano

eFootball Kick Off is a convincing step forward for Konami, bringing back much of what made the series so beloved in the first place. Its fluid gameplay, stable 60 FPS performance, and Switch 2-exclusive content make it a great option for football fans. However, weak goalkeepers, the lack of deeper offline modes, and some questionable licensing decisions hold it back from reaching its full potential. Even so, considering its price and the fun it delivers on the pitch, it’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a solid football game on Nintendo Switch 2.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is one of those simulators that define generations, and no matter when it is re-released, it remains complete and fun. Even though it inherits frustrations from the past, such as the dated guest AI and the lack of options to undo actions or move rides, the game truly shines on the Nintendo Switch 2 thanks to its massive amount of content and the flawless precision of the Joy-Con 2, which perfectly simulates a mouse in any environment and solidifies this as the definitive console version. It is a timeless and must-play masterpiece.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is proof that a remake can go far beyond simply recreating a classic. With an engaging narrative, a brilliant combat system, and an enormous amount of high-quality content, the game delivers one of the most memorable experiences of recent years. Although the Nintendo Switch 2 version features noticeable visual limitations in larger-scale environments, they are not significant enough to undermine an adventure that remains grand, emotional, and essential for RPG fans.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on Nintendo Switch 2 is chaotic, stylish, over-the-top, and a lot of fun. This update arrived at the perfect time—the game runs cleanly and smoothly at 60 FPS. Not to mention the "Gun Shooting Mode," an exclusive feature available only on Nintendo Switch 2.

Farming Simulator 2026 – Switch Edition is an exciting game for Nintendo. Even with technical specifications that may not match more robust versions, this game perfectly captures the essence of the franchise through gameplay focused on progression, management, and inclusion. It may not appeal to all audiences due to its slower pace, but for simulator fans, or even newcomers to the franchise, it’s easily one of the most experimental and therapeutic experiences on the Nintendo Switch.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a love letter to childhood curiosity, wrapped in one of the most beautiful art directions on the Switch 2. It swaps traditional platforming for an adventure of exploration and discovery that may put off those seeking a challenge, but abundantly rewards those willing to let themselves be carried away. With an addictive cataloging system, creatures full of personality, high replayability, and a top-notch Brazilian localization, it’s the kind of game that makes you smile without even realizing it.

LumenTale has its own unique and charming characteristics, attracting everyone to a game that, despite being trendy, maintains a style that is not easy to achieve, but the developer managed to make it work.

Elementallis is more than just a mechanical and visual homage to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past; it is a respect-worthy adventure that manages to stand on its own feet thanks to its excellent and creative elemental combination system. Although it stumbles slightly in minor sound design details and the lack of localization for Portuguese, the title far compensates with a vast world, clever puzzles, a good amount of challenge, and a nostalgia factor that justifies every penny of its extremely inviting price. If you are looking for an epic journey with the flavor of the 16-bit era to play on your Switch’s handheld mode, this game deserves a spot in your library.

In my view, Starbites is a simple RPG aimed at attracting a new audience with its beloved character, which could work. The character, story, and game progression are appealing, but the low difficulty and bugs cause the game to lose points on the evaluation scale. However, NIS America managed to create a satisfying gaming experience, as Starbites shines when it comes to customizing group synergies to overcome challenges. And if you’re willing to give it a chance and don’t expect an RPG with absurd next-gen graphics, I believe Starbites will provide a rewarding RPG experience.

Bubsy 4D is a real evolution for a franchise that truly needed one. Fabraz brought personality, structure, and some creative ideas, but the clunky movement, unpredictable physics, and lack of Portuguese localization take their toll. In a market where Mario Odyssey, Astro Bot, and Donkey Kong Bananza set the standard, being an “okay” platformer in 2026 isn’t enough to find its place in the sun. That’s fine for fans of the bobcat. For everyone else, the bar is set too high.

Tales of Arise is an essential recommendation for absolutely any video game fan — an epic journey worth every second of your time because it delivers the perfect balance: a deep, mature, and layered story for those looking to be emotionally invested in an excellent narrative, while also offering an incredibly dynamic, stylish combat system with satisfying controls for players seeking pure action and refined gameplay.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch 2 is one of those miraculous ports that shows exactly what the console is capable of when truly competent technical work is involved. Even with some graphical limitations and 30 FPS gameplay, MachineGames managed to preserve all the cinematic atmosphere, exploration, and sense of adventure present in the versions for more powerful consoles. This game is definitely worth playing, especially if you’re a fan of the franchise or enjoy games focused on exploration, mysteries, and archaeological discoveries.

Outbound fulfills its promise with charm and sincerity: it’s a cozy game about freedom, van life, and exploring the world at your own pace. The van customization is genuinely satisfying, the colorful aesthetic works well on the Switch 2, and the absence of pressure or conflict creates a rare space for real relaxation. The problem lies in the depth; the gameplay loop repeats itself without reinventing itself, and playing solo the experience loses momentum sooner than expected. With friends, it’s a different story.

Total Chaos delivers a deeply immersive atmosphere and standout psychological horror moments, but is held back by technical issues and repetitive combat. Even so, its ideas and world-building make it worthwhile for genre fans. It shines in mood, but stumbles in execution.

Sayonara Wild Hearts delivers a unique experience about emotions, combining its own soundtrack, psychedelic aesthetics, and a narrative that, even though symbolic, manages to be surprisingly cohesive. Despite its short length, the game transports you to a sensory and emotional adventure that’s hard to forget. It’s a game to be felt, and if you appreciate games that stray from the conventional, you can be sure you’ll be captivated by the artistic beauty of Sayonara Wild Hearts.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a unique, chaotic, and extremely charming experience that truly shines by delivering creative freedom and unpredictable moments that rarely repeat from one player to another. Even with clear limitations, such as the lack of Brazilian Portuguese and some questionable decisions in basic features, the game remains highly entertaining and works almost like an interactive reality show you simply can’t stop following.

Pragmata arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2 as one of the most welcome surprises of 2026. What seemed destined for genericism reveals itself to be an experience with its own identity, driven by Diana, a character who transforms both the narrative and the gameplay. The port is exemplary, the combat system is genuinely innovative, and the bond between Hugh and Diana is the best thing the game has to offer. The only drawback is the length, which ends the journey before it can reach its full potential.
