More than just bringing together different versions of a classic, Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition delivers a thoughtful celebration of one of the games that helped shape Ubisoft’s identity and the golden age of 2D platformers. The possibility of revisiting multiple editions, with real differences between them, reinforces how experimental and daring game development was in the 90s.

Reanimal represents a natural evolution of Tarsier Studios’ talent, delivering an atmospheric, mature, and memorable horror experience. Its refined art direction, precise sound design, and carefully crafted tension stand out as its greatest strengths. The fragmented narrative, combined with a powerful and impactful story, lingers in the player’s mind long after the journey comes to an end.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties is an ambitious remake that modernizes a pivotal chapter of the franchise while preserving much of its emotional core. Refined combat, rebuilt visuals powered by the Dragon Engine, and a more mature narrative make it especially rewarding for long-time fans. However, controversial changes to the ending, explained through the Dark Ties expansion. may frustrate series veterans, and the inconsistent English voice acting undermines immersion at key moments. Performance on Switch 2 is solid and meaningful for the series. Not an ideal entry point, but still a rich and memorable experience, albeit one that will likely divide its audience.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a resounding success. The game masterfully delivers everything its project set out to achieve: the same legendary adventure, now presented with a stunning diorama-style visual and a much better-paced gameplay experience. The narrative remains beautiful, the universe incredibly rich, and the changes — especially to combat and overall pacing — not only enhance the experience but also point toward exciting directions for the future of JRPGs. It’s a title that has shed its old “burdens” and established itself as a benchmark for the genre, highly recommended for both long-time fans and, especially, for those experiencing this masterpiece for the first time.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is everything we dream of when playing a game: experiencing a wide range of emotions throughout the journey, building empathy with the story, forming deep connections with its characters, and feeling the adrenaline rush during its action-packed moments. It is touching, it is unique, and it is the reimagining of a gaming legend that returns with grandeur to reaffirm its place among the greatest games in history.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a more mature reinterpretation of the traditional musou formula, with a strong focus on depth, strategy, and constant awareness of the battlefield. It is not a game designed for casual or immediate experiences, as it requires dedication to fully master its systems and mechanics. In return, it delivers intense battles, genuine variety in combat styles, and a progression system that rewards player engagement. Even without Portuguese localization, it stands as a solid and memorable experience for those who already appreciate the genre and Chinese culture.

This game is addictive and encourages you not only to try again but to replay the levels with different characters. It’s beautiful, well-localized, inexpensive, and easy to learn. Ball x Pit is for everyone who enjoys challenges and certainly likes pinball and Arkanoid/Breakout.

The game presents a living, pulsating world; Larian Studio did a very good job of refining it for our Switch 2 version. The game delivers a rich story, extreme character development, and a gameplay experience that will keep you happy for hours on end.

Mega Dimension is an expansion designed for those who truly became involved with Pokémon Legends: Z-A and want to continue exploring its world after the main campaign. It delivers new challenges, powerful Pokémon, and exciting Mega Evolutions, but without reinventing the experience or significantly expanding the map. It works very well as a premium post-game, although the price and recycling of ideas may deter some players. Still, for fans of the Legends concept, it’s a natural and fun extension of the journey.

Bye Sweet Carole stands out for its bold artistic identity, using an innocent visual style to tell a dark and emotionally charged story. While the gameplay suffers from control issues and moments of trial and error, these flaws don’t overshadow the experience. The hand-drawn animations, constant tension, and the protagonist’s vulnerability leave a lasting impression. It’s not a game for everyone, but for those who value strong art direction and atmospheric horror, it’s a memorable and underrated work.

The game blends its story of resurrecting the prince very well with the roguelike system. It delivers a fluid, fun experience and a very satisfying gameplay feel. Although the narrative isn’t deep, it combines the useful with the enjoyable. Its music and visuals are flawless and enhance its quality; even though the game isn’t long, every part shows that it was meticulously crafted.

This game only misses a 100% score due to its high price compared to the total gameplay time. But it comes very close, as it’s fun from beginning to end, nostalgic if you experienced the Y2K bug, great to play with friends and beautiful to look at. Without a doubt, a wonderful success for everyone involved.

Octopath Traveler 0 preserves the soul of the franchise with an epic narrative, stunning art, and a spine-chilling soundtrack, while also innovating through its eight-character combat system and protagonist customization, both spot-on additions. With the satisfying development of Wishvale serving as the heart of the journey, fluid gameplay, and the long-requested linear storytelling, the title comes highly recommended for JRPG fans and is a must-buy for those who already love the series.

Terminator 2D: No Fate is a love letter to arcades and a sincere tribute to one of the greatest action classics in cinema. Without trying to reinvent the wheel, the game delivers pure fun, precise challenges, and a delightful dive into nostalgia. Its retro visuals and creative expansion of the story captivate both veteran players and newcomers alike. Despite a few dated elements, the overall experience is engaging and highly satisfying. A worthy return to the style that defined generations.

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is a solid science fiction experience. Discovering everything Viewros has to offer is incredibly rewarding and provides an unparalleled sense of alien atmosphere. The wait for a new Metroid Prime was long, but just a few minutes in Beyond are enough to remind us why we were so eager to return to this universe.

Minstrel Song brings back vivid memories of what made Romancing SaGa so successful at the beginning of the series, offering a fresh way to explore a JRPG. This international version presents a new range of entry points into the SaGa world, allowing you to connect more deeply with your journey by experiencing it in your native language. The game doesn't feature graphical updates, but it doesn't need them because it remains a good JRPG from its era

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Switch 2 is a solid and extremely competent port that delivers exactly what it promises: a classic, fluid, and portable adventure with a stable 60 fps and intact gameplay, even if it sacrifices the more modern graphics and advanced effects found on larger consoles. It’s the most practical and accessible way to revisit (or experience for the first time) the origins of Lara Croft, offering a complete, stable, and cost-effective package, as long as you understand that the focus here is on performance and portability, not next-gen visual fidelity.

Kirby Air Riders is the ultimate proof of Masahiro Sakurai’s brilliance, delivering a deceptively simple experience that hides an incredibly high skill ceiling beneath its gameplay. Beyond reviving the addictive chaos of Urban Trial and offering robust customization, the title is a delightful surprise and a love letter to fans. The game arrives fully localized with Portuguese voice acting, which cements this work not only as a triumphant return, but as an instant classic that is indispensable in any Nintendo Switch 2 library.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is the perfect example of a game that delivers exactly what it promises, conveying all the excitement of the anime’s battles in a simple way, yet with just the right depth so that, after a short time, any group of friends can extract all the adrenaline and immersion these fights provide. All aspects related to art are impeccable, and the performance on the Switch 2 is surprising; it’s a highly recommended game for fans of the series, given all the content and care put into it — to the point that calling it the “definitive game of the franchise” feels completely justified.

Without a doubt, Hitman: Absolution was, is, and will continue to be a gem of stealth games. By sacrificing some of the freedom of previous titles, the game delivers more strategic possibilities, more weapons, and more ways to achieve the objectives proposed by the story, which is cinematic and lends a touch of humanity to the legendary Agent 47. Aside from the high price and the fact that Brazilian Portuguese language support wasn’t included, there’s nothing to complain about. The graphics are beautiful, the performance is more than stable even in portable mode – and a version for Switch 2 is coming soon – and the gameplay mechanics, which provide adrenaline and fun from beginning to end, are flawless, with a high replayability factor.
