Bringing a different style to the latest fighting games that have been released in recent months, Baki Hanma: Blood Arena brings a unique and creative experience. For some, it may be difficult and have few opponents, but the way the game conducts its story and fights makes up for everything.VeredictBringing a different style to the latest fighting games that have been released in recent months, Baki Hanma: Blood Arena brings a unique and creative experience. Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Switch 2 is the definitive version of the adventure, combining creative stages, a robust post-game, and the Star Crossed World DLC, which expands the experience with new challenges and mechanics. The striking soundtrack and smooth 60 fps visuals enhance its brilliance, but the lack of Portuguese localization and the high price may be drawbacks. Even so, it stands as one of the most complete and charming journeys in the Kirby franchise.

Despite the oversaturation of anime fighting games, Kimetsu no Yaiba – Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles manages to stand out by offering an interactive immersion into the anime’s events. The game invests in ranked modes that demand planning and mastery of mechanics, a story mode that’s accessible even if you haven’t played the first title, and a robust roster of characters. Everything is polished and well-crafted. Still, it lacks a bit of boldness: the game favors fidelity and visual spectacle over truly challenging battles. For its target audience, this may not be an issue, but players seeking greater difficulty might feel that absence.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is a remake that recaptures the charm of the classic while adding fresh touches that make the experience feel engaging and modern. Its unique sales mechanic, memorable romance options, and nostalgic appeal stand out, even if the lack of a Portuguese localization and a somewhat shallow farm routine keep it from reaching its full potential. Still, it remains one of the most charming entries in the franchise and is well worth the attention of simulation fans

Patapon 1+2 Replay is much more than a simple revival: it’s a celebration of the creativity that only rhythm games can deliver. Between tribal marches, precise commands, and strategic battles, the game proves that intensity isn’t measured solely by explosions or relentless enemies. Even with minor technical issues — audio latency on certain TVs and the lack of automatic saving — the experience remains hypnotic and captivating. The charming visuals, memorable soundtrack, and innovative gameplay make this title a perfect gateway for those looking to explore new styles and rediscover a classic. For newcomers, it’s a chance to fall in love; for PSP veterans, it’s a reunion with an old melody that still pulses with energy. In the end, Patapon reminds us that video games can also be poetry in motion, rhythm, and music turned into gameplay.

Drag x Drive is the kind of game only Nintendo would make: bold, accessible, and unlike anything else. It showcases how the Joy-Con 2 can be used creatively and guarantees good laughs online with friends. However, it lacks the depth and personality to establish itself as a sports classic. It’s fun, but it almost plays like a “premium tech demo” for the Switch 2 Joy-Cons.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is the kind of remake that truly understands its legacy. Without overcomplicating things, it brings back everything that made the originals shine: precise gameplay, memorable maps, and that arcade rhythm that keeps you hooked for hours. The inclusion of Brazilian skaters like Rayssa, Bob, and Letícia is a gift, and the Easter eggs — like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — show how much care went into every detail. Even with a few missing classic levels and a soundtrack that could’ve used a Brazilian touch like THPS 1 + 2 had, the result is solid. On the Nintendo Switch 2, the game shines with smooth 60 fps and fluid visuals.

Looking for an old story that becomes new here? This might be for you. The combat is simple and doesn’t try to be more than it’s intended to be, it doesn’t try to impress you, it just does it, and that’s great because you can start, have fun, and leave with a feeling of a job well done by the Sting and Combine Heart team.

Donkey Kong Bananza is a true love letter to fans of the most charismatic ape in gaming. With stunning visuals, an engaging soundtrack, and accessible gameplay, the game delivers a fun, heartwarming, and emotional experience, the kind that makes you smile from beginning to end. Its story, while simple, is effective, and the chemistry between characters makes the journey even more captivating. More than just the return of a gaming icon, we are witnessing the birth of a title destined to define a generation. A game that will be remembered, recommended, and celebrated for years to come as an essential experience for any video game fan

Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is the perfect debut for the franchise on the Switch 2. With enhanced graphics, additional voice acting, and a new game mode, it goes beyond a simple port. The gripping story and impactful combat are just as good as before if not better. It’s an excellent entry point for newcomers and a worthy return for longtime fans. A promising start for the Like a Dragon universe on Nintendo’s platform.

Ruffy tries, and succeeds to some extent, in blending nostalgic textures with a faster and more current gameplay, delivering a fun, well-localized, and striking game that will certainly appeal to the old guard and can be a great starting point for new players.

Tamagotchi Plaza is a mix of charm, nostalgia, and good ideas that are partially executed. It’s cute, accessible, and has a good heart, but it also feels a bit rushed, with unpolished elements and a worrying lack of localization. It’s a game that works well in small doses and can provide a good time for fans of the franchise or patient kids. But with a little more care, it could have been truly special.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster is, in the end, a way to shine the spotlight once again on one of the great JRPGs from the 3DS era, now featuring visual enhancements and two charming minigames that feel more like Joy-Con function tests. The game delivers everything you’d expect from a solid Japanese RPG: a compelling story, an impeccable soundtrack, beautiful environments, charismatic characters, and a revamped turn-based combat system that adds strategy and dynamism to every battle. The freedom in team building and well-written dialogues give rhythm and personality to the journey, making the experience captivating from start to finish. It’s highly recommended for those looking to get into the world of JRPGs or to relive the genre’s golden age. However, for those who already played it on the 3DS, the new content is minimal and doesn’t quite justify a return—unless, of course, it’s out of pure nostalgia for Luxendarc.

After a frustrating initial release on the previous console, Big N fans finally receive a smooth, visually polished, and technically stable experience — something essential for the magic to truly work. If you ever dreamed of receiving your Hogwarts letter… Now is the time to open the envelope.

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is a captivating visual experience, with an immersive soundtrack and good combat ideas. However, structural repetition and limited variety between runs prevent the game from reaching its full potential. Recommended especially for those who value art and style, but perhaps less suitable for those looking for mechanical innovation in roguelites.

LUNAR Remastered Collection is a nostalgic and immersive experience that blends beauty, charm, and smooth gameplay, evoking childhood imagination and emotions in a simple yet profound way. With anime-style cutscenes, a phenomenal soundtrack, and captivating adventures, the game is both a gem for fans of Japanese RPGs and an accessible entry point for newcomers. It comes highly recommended, especially for its ability to reinvigorate players with such a pure and thrilling journey.

Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC is a modern game, but with a strong influence from retro experiences, that delivers content that is in line with the price charged. It is recommended for those looking for quick and straightforward fun, since the game gets straight to the point and delivers quality races, with a classic 3D or isometric view of the games, depending on the customer’s taste. It is very good to play in portable mode, when we only have 5 or 10 minutes available, you know?

Mario Kart World not only honors the legacy of the franchise, but also expands upon it with boldness and creativity. The new free mode, open world, and new modes add layers of depth and replayability to a title that was already synonymous with fun. The experience remains familiar, accessible, and impeccable from a technical and artistic standpoint, all with Nintendo’s hallmark of excellence.

Welcome Tour isn’t exactly a game in the traditional sense, but it’s also far from being just a disguised manual. It’s an interactive experience carefully designed to introduce the Nintendo Switch 2 in a creative—and often charming—way. Overall, the title does a good job of being both playful and informative. However, at times it lacks depth and challenge, which can make the journey feel brief and somewhat unremarkable. In the end, Welcome Tour is a lovely introduction to the console, but it might have worked better as a complimentary welcome gift rather than a paid title.
