Digimon Story: Stranger is just what the series needed: a solid, accessible JRPG with enough depth to hook both veterans and new players alike. Its blend of classic structure, complex creature management, and tactical combat make it one of the most complete titles in the Digimon universe. It's not perfect, but you're going to enjoy it.

Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel remain two timeless gems, and this re-release for Switch and Switch 2 proves it with outstanding visual improvements (1080p/4K) and controls perfectly adapted to the gyroscope, both on TV and in handheld mode. Still, the additional content is scarce. That said, it's the best way to enjoy (or discover) two of the best 3D platformers ever created.

Recommended - EA Sports FC 26
Oct 10, 2025

EA SPORTS FC 26 comes recommended because, although it's not revolutionary, it confirms that the series is back on track. This is a solid, fun, and varied installment. It won't completely change the way we play digital soccer, but it offers enough reasons to hook any soccer lover, as the overall experience feels richer and more balanced than in previous installments.

Oct 9, 2025

Absolum is one of the big surprises of 2025. What could have been just another roguelite has turned out to be a brilliant combination of beat 'em up with a deep combat system and the roguelite genre. Dotemu and the studios involved have managed to make each run intense, strategic, and tremendously fun, both solo and in co-op.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter transforms a niche classic into a gem of modern JRPG. A polished, expressive game with gameplay that couldn't be more dynamic. It takes the best of the original (its world, its characters, its depth) and pushes it into the future with a more modern experience. If this is the future of Trails, something big has just begun.

Recommended - CloverPit
Oct 6, 2025

CloverPit is an addictive slot machine roguelite, and Panik Arcade once again demonstrates its talent for blending ideas with solid gameplay systems. It has that sickening, oppressive feel of Inscryption, but with addictive random mechanics that push you to seek out impossible builds. It's simple to play, but has a touch of strategy. It's one of the indie surprises of the year.

Oct 2, 2025

Bad Viking repeats its formula and proves once again that it knows how to create unique experiences. Strange Antiquities is demanding, but tremendously immersive. Its setting, object design, and the uncomfortable atmosphere it conveys are its greatest strengths, although exploration feels too limited and certain pieces are too cryptic. If you enjoyed Strange Horticulture, don't miss this one.

Dying Light The Beast is recommended because it delivers on its promise to return the series to a darker, more tense, and brutal setting. It refines the foundations of the series and adds an interesting twist with the Beast System. This title will appeal to those who enjoyed the first Dying Light and anyone looking for an open-world survival horror game with personality. It's not perfect, but it is the most coherent and enjoyable installment.

Unscored - Formula Legends
Sep 23, 2025

Formula Legends is a driving arcade game that works well as a tribute to F1, but it has drawbacks that weigh down the experience. Its control issues, inconsistent AI, and some technical glitches weigh too heavily on the experience. It's a charming title, but it needs polishing to reach the podium.

Borderlands 4 comes recommended because it marks the comeback the series needed. It doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it refines its foundations and takes them to more ambitious heights with an open world, a revamped combat system, and an arsenal that continues to reign supreme in the realm of chaos. Despite its technical issues, the result is an addictive, fun game with dozens of hours of gameplay ahead.

Recommended - NBA 2K26
Sep 12, 2025

NBA 2K26 is recommended because it continues to be the definitive basketball experience. The evolution of its gameplay and the depth of all its game modes mark a leap in quality compared to previous installments. The downside? There are still too many microtransactions in all areas. In any case, it is an ambitious, comprehensive title that maintains its essence.

SEGA has achieved a remarkable comeback for the Shinobi series. Art of Vengeance maintains the classic essence and adapts it to 2025 with an agile, precise, and truly satisfying combat system. The mix of action stages with slight Metroidvania touches offers variety, although also a certain lack of identity. It doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it does become one of the best 2D action games of the year.

Sep 8, 2025

Cronos: The New Dawn comes highly recommended because Bloober Team has not only found its identity in the horror genre, but also because rarely will a game draw you in like this one does. A tense and immersive survival horror experience awaits you, a unique blend of anguish and fascination.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + The Astral World is recommended because it is not only an improved version, but also the definitive way to enjoy one of the best titles in the series. All in all, this edition is perfect for both those who have already played the base game and new players. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is a careful remake that modernizes just enough to make it enjoyable in 2025 without losing its essence. Its simplicity may seem lacking compared to complex, modern offerings such as Stardew Valley, but that accessibility makes it a great gateway into the genre. Simple, straightforward, full of content, and fun. Recommended.

Sword of the Sea comes highly recommended because it is a beautiful, immersive, and unique game, with masterful art direction and a formidable soundtrack, although it is weighed down by a vague storyline. Giant Squid reaffirms its identity with a title that turns the journey into a poetic act. Without a doubt, it is an unforgettable journey that confirms, once again, that video games are also art.
