Use of slots to engage in 1v1 RPG combat is well done and addicting. Incremental upgrades per round, like Balatro.

An amazing open world game that's scarred by the abysmal initial release and slow ramp up.

Not what I'm looking for in Final Fantasy, but it's a great Michael Bay DMC game.

Nice reimagining with QoL updates and changes to keep the simple battles engaging. DQ1 is fairly boring with only 1 playable character however.

Very impressive graphics. Story is hard to follow due to many ambiguous symbolism and analogies, but the ending really drives the message home.

With all its flaws, I recommend this if you are a Suikoden fan.

There's a lot of visual upgrades, but the core of the game remains the same. Could have used more QOL features, but this is a wonderful remaster of PS1 JRPG must-plays.

Archaic designs are infuriating, but the story and charming sim keeps you playing. The first 3 hours feels like a 2/5 game, but the rest feels like a 4/5.

I have not played this, but I watched video play-throughs of it. The story is absolutely fantastic. However there’s not really much gameplay.

Trip back to River City Ransom nostalgia.
