Although the first few hours of gameplay were fun, Mario & Luigi: Brothership was a slightly disappointing experience. Despite good art direction and many exciting mechanics, especially the combat system, the gameplay seemed too repetitive and not up to the standards of other recent RPGs.

Nintendo has delivered one of the best Mario Party games ever thanks to a truly generous amount of content, and that couple of gimmicks that are perhaps not essential or revolutionary, yet capable of delighting those who prefer single player experiences. If you love party games, Jamboree is a must.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom proves that a classic approach to the series is still possible as long as it only partially negates the evolutions of recent years. The new gameplay mechanics blend perfectly with the old-school structure and are fun, while the art direction takes your breath away.

After the remake of the first two episodes of Famicom Detective Club I was really hoping for a return of the franchise, and Emio - The Smiling Man does not disappoint thanks to first-class art direction, an interesting plot and its retro soul.

If you loved NES Remix, you will also appreciate Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, which, in addition to several new challenges, offers a small essay on game design. Otherwise, the package is a bit pricey (€29.99, to which you have to add the cost of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to enjoy all the features), and not all "remixed games" have aged well in the same way.

Returning to play Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is always a pleasure, especially because in terms of level design and puzzles, for me it is the most interesting chapter in the series. Plus the new control system is a real blessing, even more welcome than the new graphics.

Directly from the GameCube's âge d'or emerges one of the best Mario-related RPGs, suitably revamped and still hugely entertaining. The game also shows how cutting-edge Intelligent Systems and Nintendo were 20 years ago; if all the latest Switch hits will be like this one, there's no complaining.

With a little more attention, Endless Ocean Luminous could have been an interesting video game. However, as it is, it is merely a wasted opportunity: interaction with environments and sea creatures is stripped to the bone, while the direction is not exactly outstanding. It remains a relaxing experience, but it is not enough.

Peach makes a comeback with a fun and artistically inspired video game perfect for kids, a little less so for hardcore gamers.

Starting with a video game released in 2004 and intended for the handheld market, Nintendo has done an excellent job, producing an intriguing and incredibly rich remake that provides hours of entertainment.

Although Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a technical disaster, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expands the main adventure (and its mythology) with interesting content, offering challenges and characters old and new. If you enjoyed the original game I would also recommend the DLC, however I hope Game Freak will try harder in the future.

WarioWare: Move It! is a lovely game. The variety of challenges is really wide, while the Story is perfect for getting into the mood of the game. I would have appreciated an online multiplayer mode, but still, I had a lot of fun.
