Gary Nielsen's Reviews
‘Hide The Corpse’ is a highly addictive, extremely physical, physics-based puzzle challenge that never fails to turn an obscenely simple objective into the fight of your life. If you are on the prowl for a game that is truly easy to play and hard to master, then look no further. This quirky, cartoony, “70s-themed gem is a total trip and well worth the addition to your PSVR2 Library.
‘Hidden Memories of The Gardens Between’ is a heartfelt, nostalgic journey through time and memories shared between Frendt and Arina. This journey of quiet reflection is a testament to the outstanding environmental storytelling, incredible set pieces and stellar animation. If you are looking for a relaxing puzzle game that is sure to have your own childhood memories flooding back to you, then this is for you.
‘Gorn 2’ delivers more of everything that made ‘Gorn’ a must-play for VR enthusiasts. Although the campaign is way too short for my liking, there is endless fun to be had playing with the Custom and Endless modes. Expressive combat, increased variety of weaponry, over-the-top violence, challenging boss battles and kicking the crap out of many Rokibe. What’s not to love about that? With only a couple of minor issues ‘Gorn 2’ is a solid entry and well worth adding to your PSVR2 library.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a masterpiece in storytelling and character-building, a must-play for any Marvel fan.
‘Completely Stretchy’ is a delightfully odd and quirky adventure that is good-silly-fun. I would love to say that I can highly recommend giving this a play, but in its current state, I am hesitant to do so. I am certain that with more love and some much-needed patches, you’ll have lots of fun getting into some sticky situations.
Metro Awakening VR is a dark, twisted spiritual journey that will have you questioning your sanity. I have experienced fear and panic that I never even knew that I had within me throughout my time with this incredible entry to the Metro series.
The Smurfs: Dreams is a 3D puzzle platformer bursting at the seams with creativity in level design. A vibrant journey into the dreams of Smurfs, with each new dream feeling unique and fresh. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish that will constantly have you thinking on your feet, especially in those incredible boss battles.
Kill Knight is a constant struggle for survival that delivers more carnage than you can poke a stick at. PlaySide has delivered a challenge I haven’t been this addicted to overcome in such a long time.
