The House of Da Vinci VR marks Blue Brain Games' debut in the virtual world, offering a decent puzzle-filled adventure, though it remains too rooted in smartphone logic to fully hit the mark. The quality of the puzzles varies in difficulty and lacks originality, featuring a control system that is still underdeveloped and uncertain. Nevertheless, it manages to keep players entertained throughout the game's duration.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an excellent sequel to the saga, captivating me from the very first moment, just like the previous three instalments. Despite uncertain narrative and writing, the title still showcases a richly detailed level design and a varied and balanced gameplay, offering extensive character customization and a role-playing immersion as only Bioware can achieve.

Aloy's adventure towards discovery in this machine-dominated post-apocalyptic world has never looked so good. The Nixxes team has hit the mark, thanks to extensive and meticulous work that brings the title almost to the same level of quality as the sequel, making it to all intents and purposes the best possible version of Horizon Zero Dawn, expanding and improving on what already exists, with improvements also present in the soundtrack and DualSense support. If you've never played the saga, now is the perfect time to do so, and for those who already own the original title, we highly recommend the upgrade.

I could have started with this, but I didn't want to spoil the review: Super Mario Party Jamboree is essentially the ultimate Mario Party. It's like Super Smash Bros Ultimate, offering everything that made the series famous but taken to the next level. The sheer number of characters, boards, games, modes, customizations, and rewards ensures fun whether you're playing solo or in large groups. Playing alone is no longer an issue, thanks to numerous modes that allow for online play or against a competent AI that will either support you properly or offer a challenge. If you're looking for a game to play with friends, look no further—Jamboree is the answer.

If you're not a fan of Persona, I strongly doubt this title is for you, as it shares the same strengths and weaknesses as the series. But for those who appreciate it, it’s practically a must-have that will not fail to surprise and entertain the player.

The Plucky Squire captivates with its visual style, unique gameplay, engaging narrative, and charming characters. It's nearly impossible to resist the game's charm, offering about ten hours of fun and some head-scratching moments as puzzles become more complex but never too difficult. The only downside is the 3D phases, where the game doesn't particularly excel. However, the mix of styles and gameplay entertains and amazes, resulting in a magically narrated story that you'll be eager to see through to the end.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: ISEKAI Chronicles is yet another commercial attempt to please anime fans, but it misses the mark in terms of gameplay, structure, and technique. Its budget nature is evident from the polygonal graphics reminiscent of a 2006 game, combined with simplified, unvaried beat-em-up gameplay and an incomplete city-building aspect. The only reason to consider purchasing it is the two original stories, which are enjoyable thanks to various character interactions and some animated scenes, but even these are passable and unremarkable. It's always a shame to reject a title with potential, but out of respect for the audience, we must.

Concord has potential but is currently too chaotic and unfinished to be enjoyable. Despite years of development, Firewalk released an incomplete product. The engine shows promise, and with a good rework, it could improve. Right now, the game is chaotic, characters don't mesh, there are no standout modes, and the price doesn't match the quality. With ongoing development and user feedback, significant changes could make it better in six months to a year. Realistically, the gaming industry's current situation makes this challenging, but if No Man's Sky could make a comeback, so could Concord. We'll have to wait for future updates.

Deathbound is an extremely valid title with intricate, customizable gameplay and many rules to learn and apply to overcome the game's challenge. Despite not having excellent level design, this action souls-like still manages to be interesting and entertaining, bringing fresh air to the genre. Recommended.

Bleak Faith: Forsaken has potential but fails to combine its elements effectively, resulting in unbalanced and frustrating gameplay. It feels unfinished, especially noticeable for genre veterans who expected more polish. The graphics and music are delightful, but the game falters as soon as you start playing.

Schim bases its entire game on a single gimmick. Despite the intriguing concept of jumping between shadows, it doesn't entertain as much as it should, offering neither a challenge nor a relaxing pastime. The plot is somewhat non-linear and ill-suited for the game. It's a shame because the core idea is solid, but the lack of notable level design and original mechanics makes it a fleeting distraction, failing to provide lasting entertainment or be memorable.

If I could choose a version of the Riven remake to play, I'd likely go for the classic screen version. Despite the beauty of VR landscapes, it's clear the game was designed for a 2D screen and later adapted to VR, which comes with limitations. While it's acceptable to not interact with everything on a screen, in VR it makes less sense to touch everything to determine what’s part of the puzzle or just the environment. Frequent load times break the immersion and slow down gameplay, making players avoid some puzzles unless necessary. Despite these issues, it's still a pleasing VR experience for those who want to fully immerse themselves in one of the most charismatic and well-made puzzle games. Recommended.

Despite some flaws likely due to a low budget, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board has all the elements to become a fan favorite. With simple and fun gameplay mechanics, functional and varied mini-games, it hits the mark by creating an entertaining title. The option to choose the number of turns allows you to manage your time, whether for a short, medium, or long game, keeping you engaged for over an hour. It's a must for fans and lovers of peaceful yet dynamic party games, despite its graphical shortcomings that could have made it truly essential.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a straightforward remaster of the 3DS game, bringing it to the Nintendo Switch with minimal changes. Unlike a full remake, it offers only improved resolution and 3DS screen adaptation. The framerate stays at 30 FPS, multiplayer lacks new features, and it's essentially a direct port. Is it recommended? Yes, if you haven't played it before. It's fun to catch ghosts with Luigi, and the secrets and collectibles add to the enjoyment. However, it could have offered more.

As an experienced reviewer of Mario & Co., it's no surprise that I commend Nintendo for creating such original, fun, and accessible games. Paper Mario is one of the best series, and having finally played The Thousand-Year Door, I understand why it's considered the best. After several ported versions with additions from the Wii U, Nintendo has finally brought new life to classic games, hitting the mark with this one.

As someone who enjoys puzzle games, I found that Paper Trail hits the mark. The game appears simple but is actually complex with varying levels of difficulty (sometimes a bit too much). The logic of folding and creating new paths isn't immediately obvious, and it takes a few levels to get into the flow. However, the constant changes in dynamics keep the challenge engaging without being impossible. Highly recommended, despite being completed relatively quickly.

This HD remaster brings the same experience from the 3DS to current consoles, except for Street Pass, which has been replaced with a character-sending system to still retrieve items. The graphical updates are decent but not exceptional, with some low-definition elements remaining, particularly the illustrations. The change mainly focuses on reducing polygon aliasing, leaving most of the original visuals unchanged. The story, while interesting, is relatively minimal and often takes a backseat, being narrated mostly during gameplay and interrupting the monotony of exploration and constant battles. Overall, the remaster doesn't add much to the original 3DS version, offering a basic upgrade for a title that was already somewhat overlooked upon its initial release.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster is a game from the past that was appreciated for its stylistic approach and somewhat original gameplay. However, it should be considered a port for the Switch rather than a true remaster. Technically mediocre, with notable FPS drops even in docked mode, the Switch isn't the best console for it. Still, it allows fans to revisit the game and new players to experience it for the first time on a portable device. Recommended for nostalgic fans of action platformers from two generations ago, but unfortunately, the game hasn't aged well.

Unicorn Overlord is an original and well-crafted title, absolutely worth your attention. Its style, story, and narrative are compelling reasons to consider it, but the gameplay truly captivates players. It offers a sense of simplicity for casual gamers focused on the plot, while providing challenges for hardcore strategists. I highly recommend trying the extensive demo available in the store to experience its undeniable quality firsthand before deciding to buy it. Overall, it's highly recommended.

In conclusion, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is an excellent off-road simulator with a strange scientific theme that serves mainly to justify the explorations. Its realistic physics and gameplay possibilities delight the player with challenging maps requiring increasing skill in handling the off-road vehicle and its gadgets to complete levels. Not suitable for everyone due to its intrinsic complexity and tedious preparation menus for each expedition, but understandable for ensuring sufficient preparation.
