Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition isn't a completely new version of the masterpiece—and it doesn't need to be. FromSoftware is bringing one of the best action RPGs of recent years—including *Shadow of the Erdtree*—to the Nintendo Switch 2, delivering a port that's technically far more impressive than early impressions suggested.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy isn't meant to be just a sequel, but rather a standalone action-adventure set in the familiar universe. The shift from helpless tension to aggressive sword-fighting is risky, but it fits Sophia as the protagonist in a way that makes sense. Resonance is a fantastic action-adventure that tells an emotional and compelling story.

The Sinking City 2 isn't the sequel I would have expected after the first game. And perhaps that's exactly what makes it so surprising. Frogwares didn't just try to fix the predecessor's flaws and then build the same game all over again. Instead, they completely revamped the entire concept.

REANIMAL is not a horror game you casually play on the side. It is an experience. One that gets under your skin, that suffocates you, and doesn’t let go even after you’ve turned it off. The Swedish studio impressively demonstrates how modern horror can truly work: relying less on cheap jump scares and more on atmosphere, psychological pressure, and a constant feeling of unease.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is not a simple remake. It is a reappraisal of an underestimated chapter. Kiwami 3 finally gives Kiryu’s story the mechanical weight it deserves, while Dark Ties proves that the series has the courage to seriously question its antagonists.

King of Meat is an original mix of chaotic party game, challenging dungeon crawler and wonderfully over-the-top game show production. The game impresses with its unique atmosphere, quirky setting and plenty of co-operative fun for friends. Minor weaknesses in the balancing and controls may spoil the overall impression a little, but they hardly matter. In the end, what remains is a creative, funny and surprisingly profound title that brings a breath of fresh air to the genre

Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is a charming but short action RPG that is particularly appealing due to its nostalgia factor and the detailed realisation of the Nickelodeon worlds. Tales of the Shire is not a game that overwhelms with mechanics, tells spectacular twists and turns or keeps players enthralled for hours. And that is precisely its greatest strength. It is a feel-good game through and through for a short holiday in the Shire, where you can simply forget about everyday life. The relaxed atmosphere, the lovingly designed world and the focus on the simple life of the hobbits make for a pleasantly decelerated gaming experience. Anyone who enjoys collecting, gardening, cooking and decorating will quickly feel at home here. However, the game often only scratches the surface in terms of content: the quests are simple, the inventory is too small and the potential in some areas of gameplay unfortunately remains unutilised.
