MLB The Show 25 is not a revolutionary chapter, but to those approaching this franchise for the second time, it has the appearance of a complete and, above all, polished product. San Diego Studio confirms its mastery in packaging a product that is technically excellent, quite accessible and respectful of baseball tradition, even with sections devoted to the history of the most important groups, socially and professionally, in the history of the sport. This chapter sees the introduction of interesting new features that are more than sufficiently integrated, but there is still room for improvement, especially in the onboarding of new players. Better, right now, in the marketplace there is none, so while considering the strides the IP needs to make, MLB The Show 25 is THE baseball game if you find yourself interested in the sport. Let's hope for a slightly bolder 2026 iteration.

Atomfall is a raw gem, great in its own right and great in the context of far too titanic titles. Give it and give me credit, and I can assure you that if you're looking for an immersive sim with an interesting narrative and a sprinkling of shooter and survival, Atomfall is what you're looking for.

Caves of Qud is a unique experience in the roguelike RPG scene. Its deep and detailed world, combined with incredibly flexible gameplay and a fascinating emergent narrative, makes it a must-have title for fans of the genre. However, its difficulty and steep learning curve may deter some players. For those looking for a challenge, Caves of Qud is a must-have title. Death is part of the experience, and each new game brings with it new knowledge and strategies. However, those who prefer more guided experiences may find the game frustrating. With continued support from the developers and an active community, the future of the game still looks full of surprises.

Dreamcore is a title that manages to impress with its unique atmosphere and the courage to offer an experience that is different from the usual horror. The choice to abandon jumpscare in favor of a more subtle creepiness is undoubtedly successful, and the journey through liminal spaces is fascinating. However, the game could have dared more in giving depth to the environmental narrative and in providing more reading elements to those holding the pad. Although exploration is at the heart of the experience, the lack of more meaningful detail in the environments and the absence of a more defined progression system can make the player feel adrift. If you're intrigued by dreamlike atmospheres and fascinated by the idea of losing yourself in a world that defies the rules of reality, Dreamcore is definitely an experience worth trying, but if you're looking for a title that also offers a more structured narrative or greater interactivity, you may find the experience a bit limited.

Tankhead is a divisive title: on the one hand it offers a unique visual and gameplay experience, and on the other hand it features design choices that might be challenging for many players. If you are looking for a game that defies convention and are not afraid of challenging gameplay, Tankhead could be a fascinating experience. However, if you prefer more polished action and a more accessible narrative, you may find the title frustrating rather than rewarding. Tankhead is an out-of-the-box experience, a game that dares to experiment and that, for better or worse, leaves its mark.
