Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred was a lot of fun; new systems are deeper and more interesting than those in Vessel of Hatred, the Warlock is a fantastic class, and the narrative issues in the campaign are of little consequence in this genre. It’s just a shame that the expansion doesn’t so much expand the game into new, uncharted territory as simply patch up its shaky foundations.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire brings us a cohesive world with a unique, mouse-themed noir aesthetic, an engaging detective story, and straightforward but satisfying combat mechanics. Although the gameplay itself lacks a bit of depth, I had a blast playing it.

Black Ops 7 is a painful proof that even the most talented studio can’t overcome time constraints. Low overall quality of this game is a direct consequence of the publisher’s greed – they are serving a meal that is somewhat enjoyable at first but costs like the most fancy course in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The new Painkiller is not a good game. This is not a title that almost succeeded or has untapped potential that modders will fix. This is a short production, poorly made and ill-conceived at almost every level.
Cronos: The New Dawn is a game with several contradictions - on one hand, it impresses with maturity in world-building and atmosphere, on the other, it disappoints with a lack of courage in designing the mechanics.
If a high difficulty level was blocking you from trying various soulslikes, Wuchang can act as a gateway game to this genre. It will teach you the basics without punishing too hard, but most likely will quickly fade from your memory. A few interesting ideas are not enough to outweigh the fact that Wuchang simply lacks personality.

Elden Ring: Nightreign does not seek widespread audience - and that's a really good thing. FromSoftware doesn't make compromises. Instead of doing “more of the same,” it has opted for a design that is completely new, system-dense and ruthlessly honest. Does it have flaws? Of course; excessively long boss fights can be frustrating. Still, Nightreign demands, but it also rewards. And it does so without half measures.
