Overall, Consol Store Simulator tries to be different in a genre that is becoming flooded. The structure is there, and it will be interesting to see how the game develops over the next 12 months. The idea of multiple shops and an open-world city block is very unique, and they have pulled it off nicely. If you enjoy simulators, you’ll sink a few enjoyable hours, as your gaming empire expands
Overall, Toll Both Simulator gets a big tick from me. It has massive potential, and during the week I have been playing it, there has been a patch every day, so it is actively being worked on and improved based on community feedback, which is great to see. There is already so much in the game and more to come, a good light-hearted fun game, fingers crossed it becomes multiplayer in the future, as you could really cause some chaos.
Overall, MotoGP26 developers Milestone S.r.l. have again taken the motorcycle genre gaming to a new level. Rather than rest on their laurels, they have again upped the ante, introducing a rider-based handling system, Rider cards, visual accuracy with bikes, teams, and leathers, coupled with near-unlimited customisation, and created what can only be described as a masterpiece of gaming.
Overall, Hacked: The Streamer is a well-put-together title; the story is engaging and keeps you guessing as you go along. Its storyline taps into people’s real emotions around online bullying and the danger of putting yourself in the public eye, a sick mother who needs to be looked after, and the realisation that you cannot always control the outcome of a situation. If you enjoy FMV games, you will enjoy this one, though there aren’t many hours of content. What’s there though, can be rewarding if you manage to sort out who the hacker is.
Overall, Blood Reaver is a solid demon-horde first-person shooter title. It goes back to the roots of 2000’s gaming, where it was about horde management and shooting, not all the fancy bells and whistles new titles try to bring in and reinvent the wheel. As developers add more content, you can see there will be longevity in the game in the future. If you want to relive your old COD zombie days, with hassle-free shooting and killing while trying to manage the numbers of the hordes, Blood Reaver is the game for you.
If you have some spare time and want to challenge yourself, jump in, but you have been warned, and the developers noted it on their Steam page; be prepared for some rage quits! Grab your friends, as well; it is good for a few laughs and some solid fun.
Overall, Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together is a masterfully crafted cooking simulation game. I must stress this is a very in-depth simulation, not a casual cooking game. You will have to expertly season all your food correctly, prepare all your ingredients, have a station ready to go, and order correctly for the day before you even think about managing the business side of the restaurant. There are hours of fun in the game if this is what you are into.
Looking at the developer road map as well, there is so much more coming to what is already a polished game. This is a must-play if you are into this genre; you will be laughing your head off and having fun for a very low entry price. Don’t hesitate; see if you have what it takes to pay off your debt.
Overall, Dysplaced, for me, is a cozy, dungeon questing game; it is a lot of genres mixed into one, and it works. It’s hard to pigeonhole this game into a specific genre, and that’s what I love about it: it can be many different games to different people.
Within the community, it is commonly believed that Death Stranding is better experienced on the PC due to its graphical enhancements, and Death Stranding 2 – On the beach will be the same, in my opinion. This title is something special and is a must-play for new players and old fans alike. Be prepared to have your breath taken away by the beauty and the horror that is Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
This is what the gaming community needs: developers who want to push the boundaries and lead, not follow what has been done before. This one is a must-play for all of you who love arcade racing games; it’s high-octane fun with a mix of classic golden-era gaming and anime.
Overall, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is a very solid game in a genre that is flooded. Except for the vehicle aspect, it doesn’t do anything different that sets it apart from other zombie horde games, but it is still a quality product and scores very highly in my opinion. By yourself or with a few mates, you will have hours of fun. The different zombies, the optimised hordes, the storyline and beautiful environment really make this title the complete package.
Overall, Crabmeat is a nice little game. It takes the realistic machines and processes from crab fishing and mixes them into a horror game. While this is an unusual mix, with the storyline, it actually works. If you’re after a little challenge and enjoy the fishing process, jump in and see if you have what it takes to clear your debt and head back to society; your family will thank you.
Overall, Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf is a polished masterpiece. The way the developers guide you into creating your own storyline is such a unique feature and something different in this saturated genre. Coupled with the untamed graphics and atmosphere, if this is your genre, don’t hesitate to buy it now!
Overall, Roadside Research is a light-hearted, fun and expansive shop simulator. For a preview game, there’s already so much in it. There are plenty of hours of fun in this title, and with the active developers and more features announced on their Steam page, you won’t be disappointed. Just watch out for those men in black! Once again, another game that will stay on my hard drive, as I am excited about where it will end up.
Overall, Manairons is a top-tier 3D action platformer game. If this is your genre, it is a must-play. Even if it isn’t your go-to genre, you won’t be disappointed. It’s all here: the beautiful graphics and the well put-together storyline combine to take you on a journey. Even after the frustrations of falling 20 times and getting back up and going again on the same puzzle, it really is an enjoyable experience and the true definition of a cozy game.
I was straight away addicted to the storyline and the mix of real-world Japanese history and fantasy. The graphics and music complement each other, fully immersing you in the story
Tavern Manager Simulation is exactly what it has set out to be: a cozy management game. It tries to be different in a market flooded with simulators, and it hits the mark, but be prepared for the grind!
Overall, Humanitz takes an existing, well-established genre and sets a new benchmark. If you are a fan of titles such as “Rust” and “7 Days to Die,” to name a few, this game is for you. Don’t let the isometric view put you off; you will soon get used to it.
If you are after a simulation game that offers good building, decorating, breeding, hands-on customer interactions, and putting stock away, this game is for you. It really is a cozy simulator; the huge selection of items and animals to unlock keeps you coming back for more and gives the game longevity.
