Crypt Custodian is an entertaining Metroidvania with plenty of opportunities for exploration and a low-key but effective pathfinding system. The bullet-hell battles are challenging yet fun, and the dialogue is humorous. The gameplay flow is excellent.

Cat’s Request is a largely unremarkable adventure game. The puzzles are mostly very simple and the pace is rather leisurely. It’s also very clear when I need to switch between the two characters. However, the few bugs in the game are highly disruptive. For this reason, I can only recommend Cat’s Request with some reservations. And if you do play it, it’s best to have several save files.

Cattie is a short platformer featuring varied levels. The levels often have a good flow, which is only slightly disrupted by enemies. Anyone looking for a major challenge certainly won’t find it here. For everyone else, however, Cattie offers some entertaining gameplay.

Infinite Inside is an engaging VR puzzle game that unfortunately suffers from some control issues. Visually, the game is very appealing and creates a surreal atmosphere that I genuinely enjoyed being immersed in. The puzzles become increasingly complex while maintaining a difficulty level that neither frustrates nor feels too simplistic. Unfortunately, unreliable grabbing mechanics tarnish the gameplay experience almost throughout.

Cat Pipes is a laid-back puzzle game whose levels are generally of a pleasant level of complexity. However, the controls can feel a bit clunky at times. As no new level elements are introduced, the number of levels is still reasonable. This puzzle game is therefore ideal for a quiet evening.

Dragon Quest Builders is a successful PC port of the building adventure. It doesn't need to hide behind its sequel. Changes like the superswing and mouse-driven block placement integrate well into the game and make the experience more pleasant.

Since I was primarily interested in the story, 'The Indigo Disk' falls a little short of the first DLC part for me. The double battles didn't quite captivate me, and the structural parallels to the main game in reduced form feel somewhat thin — though the scope is acceptable for a DLC.

Dredge delivers a wonderful horror atmosphere even in the main game. The areas are variably designed across visuals, gameplay, and NPCs. The fishing gameplay is fun and sustains engagement through its variations over the entire game.

The Pale Reach is in no way inferior to Dredge's main game. The gloomy, threatening atmosphere is almost palpable. The narwhal serves as a fitting creature to represent danger in the waters. You barely notice in time when it becomes eerie again—or stays that way—if you've stayed awake too long once more.

Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic doesn't fall short of its predecessor in any way. Searching is just as much fun once more, and there's plenty to discover. Personally, I find the focus on myths and magic slightly more appealing than the predominantly historical focus of the original Hidden Through Time. Anyone who enjoyed the predecessor definitely won't go wrong here. This title can also offer everyone a few relaxing (or focused) evenings with hidden object gameplay, even if they haven't had much prior experience with the genre.

Pokémon is truly fun for me again. After 'Scarlet and Violet,' I would have hardly expected that. But in the smaller format of the DLC, the disruptive factors weigh less heavily, and the individual storyline consists of fewer identical segments since it's also less open in its sequence.

The visual novel Giant Wishes presents an appealing premise, but the execution falls somewhat flat. There are a few amusing scenes, and a bond gradually forms between Runi and the giantess. However, individual plot threads are left unfinished, and some narrative leaps feel abrupt. Even though the character motivations become less comprehensible as the story progresses, Runi's initial setup is well-built. All in all, Giant Wishes is a solid visual novel, albeit with clear weaknesses.

Ashina: The Red Witch is a pixel adventure that stands out through a fairytale atmosphere with a strong connection to Japanese ghost stories. It has an almost Ghibli-esque charm with this focus on worldbuilding.
