8.2 / 10.0 - NBA 2K27
Sep 10, 2026

All things considered, NBA 2K27 arrives in top form for its release, another solid basketball simulation from Visual Concepts. The new gameplay fundamentals seemed well-balanced and implemented into the formula, especially in the defensive phases, while the content tweaks appear well-designed, despite a few lapses in narrative pacing. Otherwise, if you're a basketball fan looking for the best possible game to relive the exploits of past and present greats, this is the title for you.

All things considered, we have to admit that the conceptual ambition that gave birth to the project was not adequately supported in the production phase, delivering into the hands of fans a product that is visually successful and characterized by a pleasant driving model but somewhat weak in terms of structure. It remains a game aimed at an audience of all ages, with all the advantages and limitations that this entails.

The final assessment of our experience with The Blood of Dawnwalker is undoubtedly positive. Aside from a few flaws in the gameplay systems (likely due to the development team's relative immaturity), the game is easily one of the best action RPGs currently available, thanks in part to a masterfully written story and superb worldbuilding. The only disappointment is a few glitches in the navigation systems, which ultimately dilute the sense of immersion in the universe created by Rebel Wolves, but Coen's adventure in this dark fantasy world bodes well for the developers' future.

8.2 / 10.0 - MotoGP 26
May 6, 2026

Essentially, Milestone is continuing to build on the successful dual formula that has ushered in a rebirth of sorts for the MotoGP video game franchise, and it's done so with an installment that appeals to both newcomers and veterans alike. The new physics model works and is convincing; the new Career mode represents a clear departure from the franchise's past (though it still has some room for improvement); the Race Off mode is fun and finally includes street bikes. If you're a MotoGP fan or are simply looking for a title to fuel your inner racer, this year's edition of Milestone's sports simulator could be the perfect fit for you.
