While we are still in the infancy of Virtual Reality Gaming, Archangel brings something to the table worth checking out. Giant Robot seated game play making you feel like you are at the controls of the Archangel. Awesome mindless on rails entertainment… that is Archangel, the kind of game you can sit back and just enjoy.

In the end, Ghost Recon: Wildlands does enough to make it an enjoyable experience all around, even with some of the pesky issues that may have slipped past the testing phases. There is a lot to do between story missions and enough stuff to explore and try out to keep your interest up and it is a nice change of pace in this type of game to not have everyone that is on the map as an enemy. Furthermore, it’s a welcome thing to have to worry about civilians in a firefight and not wanting to get any noncombatants injured or killed when the round are going up and down range. There are many hours to be had in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and lots of late nights with you gaming friends as you all take on the cartel… I just wish that the pop up to join a public co-op game would stop freaking pop up in the middle of your game.

4.4 / 5.0 - Arizona Sunshine
Jan 1, 2017

In the end Arizona Sunshine is a good start to the VR realm… we can only hope that this is the start of some kind of ongoing franchise, because to me the game was a little on the short side. It's a A hell of a nice thrill ride, but oh so short and if the designers' goal was leaving us wanting more… then they did it.

3.4 / 5.0 - Batman: Arkham VR
Dec 11, 2016

This franchise may do well in a full VR game but they do need to add gameplay and repercussions. Also for those that are affected by VR motion sickness, this game (for me anyway) didn’t give me any issues. Rock Steady Studios may have been thinking about this ahead of time and this may be why when presented with travel options like the Batwing or Bat Mobile, the scene goes dark and you are miraculously at your destination. This is a bit disappointing, because who would not want to VR in the driver’s seat of the Batmobile or the Batwing? I mean really? However in the end, the Batman: Arkham VR experience is worth it more for the very hard core fans because it’s such a short romp and others may feel a little robbed.

It’s a fully packed game that deserves to see some DLC or maybe an Ember 2. It’s a good jaunt for those old school gaming funs that love their sword and sorcery with combat, crafting and cool items and skills.

2.5 / 5.0 - Land It!
Sep 19, 2016

For now Land It! brings just enough of a fun factor that you may want this one to grace your collection. We tested out the Xbox One version and found it a pretty fun time for a go or two. Things can get a bit tedious after a few long sessions and as I view this as a casual game, it can provide just enough distraction to be experienced in short sessions of entertainment but nothing longer.

With a lot of different side missions and player challenge runs, Mirror's Edge Cataylst has some things going for it, even if it limps along on some points. This is one you will either like a lot or have a real dislike for. It lets us down in some fronts, and delivers in others but overall, Mirror's Edge Catalyst can be a fun ride, and may be worth your time but just be ready on what you get!
