4 / 5.0 - Sorcerer King
Aug 10, 2015

I had a lot of fun playing the game, it has enough depth to keep you interested, but not so much going on that if you are new to this sort of gaming you would feel lost. It's pretty cool indeed. Once in awhile the AI was a little stupid, but it was not so much that the game was not enjoyable. Pen, paper and dice gamers will also feel right at home and this game seriously feeds the gaming beast until your next gaming convention.

In short, Samurai Warriors 4-II is another game in the series that will be lots of fun if you like fighting massive mobs with a cast of different characters including some of your own custom characters.  It can be a lot of fun slashing through armies and feeling like a powerful warrior while taking part in a historical period of Japanese history.

2.3 / 5.0 - Godzilla
Nov 4, 2015

All in all, there may not be enough substance for a gamer to really stick around and play the game more than a few times in curiosity. While there is some enjoyment to be had, you may have to be a real fan of giant monster movies to really appreciate this title.  As a fan I want to really like this game more than I do… as a writer and fellow consumer, I can see that the game is rough and could have done with some polishing up and tweaking such as larger maps to really feel like you as a giant monster had the run of the world.

Even with the AI sometimes leaving you to scratch your head in wide eyed wonder at why they did what they did, Warhammer 40,000 Regicide is wickedly cool to play, with its tactical chess like playing and the campaign story that is just enough for a grand adventure to gear up the players interest which successfully ties it all together. In the end Warhammer 40,000 Regicide is worth playing and we hope to see some possible DLC in the future to expand and lengthen the life of this bloody surprise of a game.

2.6 / 5.0 - Coast Guard

Coast Guard is strongest when it is doing ship operations and after that, it tends to get bogged down in a quagmire of oddity.

With a lot of different side missions and player challenge runs, Mirror's Edge Cataylst has some things going for it, even if it limps along on some points. This is one you will either like a lot or have a real dislike for. It lets us down in some fronts, and delivers in others but overall, Mirror's Edge Catalyst can be a fun ride, and may be worth your time but just be ready on what you get!

2.5 / 5.0 - Land It!
Sep 19, 2016

For now Land It! brings just enough of a fun factor that you may want this one to grace your collection. We tested out the Xbox One version and found it a pretty fun time for a go or two. Things can get a bit tedious after a few long sessions and as I view this as a casual game, it can provide just enough distraction to be experienced in short sessions of entertainment but nothing longer.

3.4 / 5.0 - Batman: Arkham VR
Dec 11, 2016

This franchise may do well in a full VR game but they do need to add gameplay and repercussions. Also for those that are affected by VR motion sickness, this game (for me anyway) didn’t give me any issues. Rock Steady Studios may have been thinking about this ahead of time and this may be why when presented with travel options like the Batwing or Bat Mobile, the scene goes dark and you are miraculously at your destination. This is a bit disappointing, because who would not want to VR in the driver’s seat of the Batmobile or the Batwing? I mean really? However in the end, the Batman: Arkham VR experience is worth it more for the very hard core fans because it’s such a short romp and others may feel a little robbed.

4.4 / 5.0 - Arizona Sunshine
Jan 1, 2017

In the end Arizona Sunshine is a good start to the VR realm… we can only hope that this is the start of some kind of ongoing franchise, because to me the game was a little on the short side. It's a A hell of a nice thrill ride, but oh so short and if the designers' goal was leaving us wanting more… then they did it.
