Relic's attempt to bring back the much beloved Dawn of War franchise at times shows glimpses of being a great game, but it removed everything that made it Dawn of War and is now just a run-of-the-mill twitchy RTS game.

Civilization VI is the best strategy game available on the market and a must-buy for everyone who enjoys a good strategy game. It improves and revitalizes the franchise on so many levels. This might be one of the strongest Game of the Year contenders

Don’t let Reus’ cute art style fool you; Reus is a challenging god game which will have experienced strategy player scrambling to keep on top of resource demands. It’s a strategy game for both more casual gamers and long time strategy fans.

Event [0] is one of those so-called “walking simulators”, it’s an experience where players do a lot of walking while solving some puzzles. I like walking simulators, they are often interesting experiences like a book or a movie. It is important to know that Event [0] falls under the walking simulator category because that genre is not for everyone.

I usually never enjoy MOBA games, but Atlas Reactor is something extra. The Xcom meets Overwatch gameplay combined with the low price makes the game worthwhile for fans of both genres. It's not perfect but it's really enjoyable.

Total War: Warhammer is the best Total War game in a long time. It harkens back to the Rome I and Medieval II type of Total War game, which have been considered some of be the best.
