Coffee Talk is an adorable little slice of life game where you can serve coffee and listen to some great stories.
Really, Eclipse: Edge of Light gives off all the feeling of an early VR game that was cool when it first released but hasn't stood the test of time.
Lightmatter's puzzles are shockingly smart, and getting that "Aha!" moment is brilliant. A little more refining and this may be a true first-person puzzle classic
Mosaic isn't always great, but it's a fun and lovely game that manages to hold attention easily enough. Also it has Blip Blop.
AVICII Invector provides a super fun rhythm game set to the amazing beats created by AVICII.
What I expected from GRIS was a solid, beautiful, platformer that could occupy a few hours of my time. What I got from GRIS was quite close to that, but somehow more beautiful than I could have ever considered or expected. If you want to see just how artistic games can get, or if you're like me and just need a few hours occupied by beauty and platforming, then it's hard to go wrong with GRIS.
While Strife may end up playing second fiddle to War in his own debut game, Darksiders Genesis is a surprisingly fun and lengthy top-down co-op action game that both fans and newcomers should enjoy.
Blacksad: Under the Skin has a wonderful story, setting, and set of characters, and it clearly loves its source material. I just wish it also loved my time, as I often found it wasted by pixel hunting, pointless choices, and tons of glitches.
Scrat’s Nutty Adventure thinks kids are stupid and will just accept trash because they know the squirrel from the movies. Your kid deserves better.
Honestly, I don't regret the time I spent with Monkey King: Hero is Back. Is it a great game? No, not really. I'd struggle to even call it good at times. However, it's a bizarre and sort of charming throwback title that seems to have been made in a completely different era. In a way, I found myself nostalgic for it even when I wasn't totally enjoying the experience. If you're looking for that kind of game, then you may actually find something worth checking out here. Just keep your expectations in check.
More puzzle types would have done Felix the Reaper a lot of good, but what's here is extremely charming and quite a bit of fun.
