Michael Elliott's Reviews
Its procedural level generation, player progression and survival horror should be a match made in heaven but poor presentation, bizarre design choices and flawed systems reveal Phantasmal as an amateur attempt at an interesting survival-horror concept.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a game for fans of the show, fighting games and MMOs alike. Although some elements are technologically challenged or more or less average, this game is enjoyable. With fleshed out leveling, combat and skill systems, Dragon Ball Xenoverse can keep you engaged for months to come.
Screencheat only has a thin veil of content, containing only the multiplayer modes, a quick time trials mode, and some unlockable ragdoll's, but for $15 you're getting an extremely witty and lighthearted party game.
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is an extremely well-made and enjoyable RTS title.
But aside from some pretty sights and a mostly good storyline, this open world sandbox is disappointingly empty, and makes for a poor explosion simulator thanks to some seriously annoying frame rate problems.
Clandestine's graphics, AI and story aren't quite up to par when compared to other modern titles. However, it makes up for in part with simple gameplay, challenging scenarios and an incredibly engaging two-player relationship in with both parts have to work independently and rely on each other to accomplish their goals.
The Park is an incredibly creepy narrative experience that unfortunately suffers from a lack of things to do.
Fans of classic isometric RPGs and Dungeons and Dragons alike will enjoy the style of gameplay. Unfortunately performance issues, frustrating combat and the hidden requirement of needing party members can mar the experience.
A Fistful of Gun is the perfect game if you want to experience a retro title with modern perks and quality.
Zenzizenzic is a must-buy for any fans of the twin-stick shooter genre.
For everything that RymdResa is and isn't, it's a beautiful game.
Although Kyn is an average title in most aspects, if you are a fan of the RTSRPG genre, dungeon crawling through this viking landscape with your customized party is a better experience than many.
I Am Bread is a goofy, buggy, physics adventure that shows the determination of a piece of bread to become toast. With multiple ways to play and solve the games many puzzles, I Am Bread can easily entertain for hours. Unfortunately, clunky controls, difficulty spikes and unintentional bugs can make the experience unbearable at times.
