Gareth von Kallenbach's Reviews
In the end, the game while looking good and having a solid concept is hampered by the camera issues and the control system as well as a fairly short campaign. The game is good for what it is but could have been and should have been so much better than we got.
Regardless of which direction future content takes until the release of the next game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II gives fans of the franchise what they expect and despite some bugs, is one of the more engaging and enjoyable releases for the franchise.
Gotham Knights was for me a very enjoyable adventure despite some flaws and one that I think DC fans will enjoy if they are patient and willing to overlook some of the shortcomings of the game to focus on the things it does well.
It will be interesting to see where the franchise goes next but for now, Worldslayer has pulled me back into the Outriders universe and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
In the end, The Quarry is a triumph of interactive storytelling and is an engaging and compelling tale with a strong cast. It will be interesting to see what Supermassive will do next but The Quarry is a game well worth your time.
I cannot say enough great things about the game as it is for my taste the best Lego themed game ever and a must own game for Star Wars fans of any age.
The game will have future DLC and with the limitless potential of the premise, it is safe to say that fans will have plenty of adventures ahead as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a hysterical and mayhem-filled romp not to be missed.
In the end, Propnight gives a nice twist to the genre but may not offer enough new variation to truly stand out.
In the end Call of Duty: Vanguard offers a familiar outing but with some new wrinkles, an engaging story, and plenty of multiplayer maps which should keep fans of the franchise playing steadily right up to the release of the next game.
While elements of the game may frustrate some players; the winning storyline and highly-detailed locales with numerous opportunities to customize and explore make this one of the better Marvel-based games and one that fans will not want to miss.
Back 4 Blood is a great evolution of the genre.
While it does not attempt to change the formula, Far Cry 6 expands and improves on what has made the series such a success and gives fans more of what they want.
n the end Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is a great update to the classic series and offers fans a fun and fresh take that has never looked nor played better.
While it is not going to be for everyone; Chivalry 2 won me over with its fun and immersive gameplay and irreverent humor.
It would be nice to see more maps, characters, and some fine-tuning down the line; but for now; the game offers a pleasant enough distraction.
I hope we see a DUSK 2 in the near future as the game is a winner and can show bigger studios how to make an engaging shooter that gamers will love without the mega-budget bells and whistles.
While the launch was rough due to the numerous issues; they were addressed and the final result once patched is a deeply enjoyable action game that provides plenty of fun and challenges. Some may say waves of wildlife and enemies may become repetitive but the vast array of them as well as the varied locales, weapons, and powers had me hooked from start to finish.
There are likely many players out there who will welcome this level of complexity and challenge but I found it more tedious than fun and as such the game did not work for me. It was great to look at and does capture the experience of Tennis at a professional level; it just wraps much of the game in a cumbersome experience which is lacking in fun.
The game is a fun and immersive adventure which will provide gamers with plenty of hours of enjoyment.
In the end Black Ops Cold War does not reinvent the franchise but rather gives players more of what they have come to expect with a few new wrinkles to the mix.
