Unfortunately, that same style and humour does feel dated and grating at points, while the game’s combat sections are also some of its least engaging.

Repetition in Requests and some performance issues drag down the game, as do its insistence on fan-service elements. In the end though, if you’re a fan of Fairy Tail or just want a new turn-based RPG to play, you’ll get some enjoyment here.

A largely broken and mechanically mediocre game that manages to somewhat redeem itself thanks to its quirky characters and engaging story. If you’re able to look past the game’s many faults, you’ll certainly find an interesting story to experience. Otherwise, you’re likely to be left totally underwhelmed.
