Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is an insane amount of fun, and if you enjoyed the first game, then you are in for a real treat!

9 / 10.0 - Destiny 2
Sep 11, 2017

Destiny 2 is not a complete overhaul of the original game, but rather an evolution to something much bigger and better than its predecessor. It improves in every way, including the story, varied content and gameplay.

Everybody's Golf is a surprisingly deep and fulfilling game. It offers a decent amount of content, and while it might look quirky and cartoonish, it offers a solid digital golfing experience.

The content won't keep an adult interested for long, but add a child or two and watch them burn rubber.

7 / 10.0 - The Surge
May 17, 2017

I really enjoyed spending the 25 odd hours playing The Surge, even with it all its shortcoming and flaws. It just bothers me that I have this nagging feeling that it could’ve been a true masterpiece if it just lived up to its potential.

Nioh: Dragon of the North can be extremely frustrating if you’re not prepared for it, but if you really liked the main game, and did everything it had on offer, then this will definitely be for you.

7.4 / 10.0 - Steep

There will definitely be some people who will play and love this game, and that is great, but for more casual extreme sports fans, you will very quickly get bored with what is on offer. It’s a shame, because I had really high hopes for it.

Overall, the experience of Hitman as it is now isn’t bad, but I didn’t like the episodic formula for it. The game is solid, the mechanics work, it looks very good, sounds very good and is fun to play, but the lack of a coherent plot and having to wait a month or more before continuing the game is not ideal.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition is an incredibly good package, that adds a lot of value to what is already an exceptional game. It is honestly one of the best games I’ve played this year, full of endearing characters, great moments, both big and small and even some of the best layered villains. The combat is fun and engaging, the exploration is on point and story, especially the Blood Ties expansion, is exceptionally told.

Destiny: Rise of Iron might not quite live up to what it should have been, but it gets very close. With a few more tweaks from Bungie, it might even get close to matching The Taken King.

5.8 / 10.0 - ReCore

What starts out as a fun adventure with a likeable bunch of characters, ends up being an exercise in teeth-grinding frustration. While certain game design choices can be forgiven, the loading times can't, not by the standards set these days.
