Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a decently good time. It offers more challenge than I expected but not so much so that it becomes frustrating. The original cast, the successful visual conversion to 3D, and the suitable story all come together to create one of the best tie-in games I’ve ever played.

The Last of Us Part II is a technical marvel of game design whose achievements can be completely overshadowed by a player’s reception of its story. It all comes together in a package that is appealing to not just me but my 5-year-old daughter too.

8.4 / 10.0 - Lightmatter
Jan 15, 2020

Lightmatter is full of sarcastic, self-aware humor. The puzzles are incredibly well put together and satisfying to solve. Visually distinct with high contrast between light and dark areas, Lightmatter makes objectives clear.

Yacht Club proves yet again with King of Cards that they are masters of their craft, lovingly creating games that boldly mix genres and head in directions you’d never guess a traditional platformer would go. The card game mixes things up nicely, creating breaks of challenging card-based strategy in between action platforming.
