9 / 10.0 - Alienation
May 1, 2016

Alienation does top down shooters justice, making every mission more exciting and innovative than the last. As well all the characters are very well balanced as a whole. And for the $20 purchase, it is a great price for the amount of content that is given. Alienation can be played very casually, yet it can also be incredibly competitive and intense, I would recommend this to anyone a fan of this genre.

Adam’s Venture Origins is a game that fails to have restraint with it's constant puzzles. Although, a fair amount of these puzzles are actually decent and engages the player fairly well. Adam also has a humorous personality at times, but the overwhelming amount of poorly written dialogue and forgettable voice acting makes an annoying combination. At the point in time where decent graphics for a game like this is imperative it fails on that goal with ease. This is a game that is boring and forgettable, that is annoying and really has many problems that need to addressed if there is going to be another addition to this series.

The Dying Light: The Following expansion is by far one of the best DLC's that I have experienced in current gen gaming. It adds plenty to a game that was already great. Especially since it is $30 which is already a better price per quantity of gameplay than any of the Destiny DLC's. Of course it is not without its as it fails to create a compelling story and solid frame rate. This is a must buy for fans of Dying Light and really anybody who likes bashing zombies brains in.

8 / 10.0 - Rebel Galaxy
Jan 10, 2016

Rebel Galaxy is a very strong game, especially since it was made by two folks and is only $20. There are endless opportunities to take in this game that at times feel quite repetitive. Although, this game is much more detailed the more experienced the player becomes. Plus the game has one of the most unique soundtracks that have been heard for years and should be known to others that it is. Overall Rebel Galaxy has plenty of stuff to do, but some of it can become stale given enough time, it should also be recognized that the story is very forgettable straight from the start, but it is a game that should not be missed on, especially since January is such a deficient month for games. This is a great pickup for such a cheap price for what it is offering and it should not be forgotten.
