In the end, Feral Fury joins Quest of Dungeons as one of my favorite dungeon crawlers on the Xbox One.

Forgotton Anne has more story than many games three times the price. It's a journey worth taking and a name worth remembering.

At such a low price there is absolutely no reason for fans of platformers and all things retro to not take the plunge. Achievement hunters can earn a healthy chunk of gamerscore within a few hours as well. I, for one, wouldn’t mind seeing where Elena Temple’s next adventure takes me

8 / 10.0 - Bard's Gold
Dec 28, 2016

I keep coming back to the thought that Bard's Gold keeps me coming back. I play a lot of games and retro inspired ones can be the most frustrating; more often than not I just give up and move on to something else. Bard's Gold is different from those, I'm rewarded for my efforts in success and failure.

8 / 10.0 - Killing Floor 2

It's akin to a popcorn movie; sure there might not be much depth, but what's there is pure fun.

8 / 10.0 - Prey
May 9, 2017

Prey is a divisive game that many will adore while others will be quick to bash. Prey is not a shooting game with fast paced action, a bevy of guns and bullet sponge enemies. It's a slow burn, one that rewards thoroughness and efficiency.

8 / 10.0 - Let Them Come
Nov 11, 2017

Let Them Come sticks to its guns (har-har) with solid gameplay that doesn't stray from what it does best. While the campaign itself doesn't take very long the run through, new game plus and challenge mode add replay value.

Dustoff Heli Rescue 2 is a typical game that comes out of nowhere and completely hooks me. I love how each mission has objectives that pose an enjoyable challenge with no ambiguity.

To call Flying Tigers: Shadows over China a pleasant surprise would be an understatement. Going in completely blind I was expecting a boring history lesson with ancient planes. What I got was a compelling story with flight gameplay that is fun and exciting. The challenge modes are a welcome change of pace and online multiplayer can potentially extend replay value for years.
