Batman: The Telltale Series is a captivating adventure game that highlights a different side of Batman. The new take on the Caped Crusader is much welcomed as Telltale's original story makes its impressive debut in the first episode titled "Realm of Shadows".

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithless does a lot of things right but at the same time makes some amateurish mistakes that greatly take a way from the experience. The game had massive potential but some glaring design choices will leave fans disappointed.

An underwhelming ending doesn't mean the whole series is bad though, till the final moments I had a splendid experience with Life is Strange. The game is now available at a discounted rate in a bundle packing all 5 episodes which I would defiantly recommend buying. Life is Strange is a unique and realistic adventure game that does most of the things right and that it enough of a reason to get the game.

My main problem so far with the game is that we know very little about the overarching story and the mysterious figure. I hope that Telltale Games closes all these important plot points they've brought forth in the finale as the story deserves it.

Teamwork is very important in the Payday series and not one member of the team is expendable. Each Heist has your crew complete certain tasks so knowing your role is very important. Playing an average Heist good Payday players will have one person working the primary objective like working the drill, one person doing the secondary objective like finding extra loot, one rounding up Police officers and the last one laying down traps and securing an escape route. There's nothing better than executing the perfect Heist and I mean that!

Life is Strange Episode 4: Dark Room ends with another signature cliffhanger. The game's story is coming around though and I'm sure DontNod have an explosive finale planned for us, here's to hoping it comes out sooner rather than later. If the final episode doesn't end up being a disappointing mess, I can see Life is Strange becoming my favourite Adventure game ever.

Compared to previous episodes, Tales from the Borderlands Episode 3: Catch a Ride is a bit slower till the third act but sets up a lot on the game's background story and character development. By the looks of the things Episode 4 will up the ante as the stakes get even higher. If you've been keeping up with the series then the third episode is a must buy.

Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed is a fun deviation from the series’ turn based formula. The game is a really polished experience ranging from the UI, cutscenes, Art and soundtrack. Action Unleashed is one of the better games in the series and should be in your to-buy list if you’re a fan of the series.

Overall Life is Strange is another solid episode and could have been the best yet if the pacing towards the middle of the episode was a tad better. So far Life is Strange hasn't disappointed, if the next two episodes keep the pace then Life is Strange could easily be one of the best Adventure games of all time.

Overall Tales from the Borderlands Episode 2: Atlas Mugged is a very good followup to the first episode. If you haven't gotten the season pass yet, certainly consider getting the second episode.

Zer0 sum is like an impressive pilot to greenlight a TV show. Hopefully the rest of the season is just as good.

Life is Strange Episode 2: Out of Time is fairly entertaining but could have been even better if it could have maintained the urgency and direction of the last thirty minutes. If you have played the first episode then it's worth giving Episode 2 a playthrough.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the first episode of Life is Strange titled Chrysalis. The story has me hooked and I can't wait to find out what happens next. For the price checking out the first episode is a no brainer.

Dragon Ball: XenoVerse is a very solid fighting game and Dimps reputation hasn't been let down. I just hope that if there is a XenoVerse 2 they put in some extra QA work to fix the niggling gameplay issues and balancing. They also need to fix the massive online issues that are still present, not being able to connect to an online lobby so long after release is unforgivable. However if you're a Dragon Ball fan then getting Dragon Ball: Xenoverse is definitely recommended.

3.5 / 5.0 - Fairy Fencer F
Feb 15, 2015

Fairy Fencer F is a mixed bag of a game, the combat is excellent but the story and setting failed to grab my attention. Overtime the battle system also started getting on my nerves due to the lengthy dungeons. The setting is different from the Neptunia series, so if you definitely want to play one of Compile Heart's game and Neptunia is not swinging your boat, then go ahead give Fairy Fencer F a try.

3.7 / 5.0 - Natural Doctrine
Jan 10, 2015

Hardcore fans of the Strategy RPG genre may find Natural Doctrine to be very enjoyable given that they invest time into it. The game is very lengthy so make sure to set aside some time before plunging into the game's world.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a very niche focused game that will appeal to a very specific crowd of people, unfortunately I'm not one of them. This certainly doesn't mean the game is bad, on the contrary the battle system and art is very enjoyable. If you can get over the mediocre narrative and annoying characters, then Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 might be worth a try.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is another solid title in the now rapidly popularized Danganronpa series. The game improves on the original like any good sequel should and keeps players wanting more. Danganronpa’s unique setting and story has made me a huge fan; after playing the original I looked up the anime, manga and other media of the game. With Danganronpa: Another Episode coming soon, I can’t wait to get more of the game. Every Vita owner owes it to themselves to get the original or Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair even if they’re not a fan of the genre, the game might just convert you.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited is a game that perfectly compliments the PS Vita. After playing games such as Persona 4 Golden and VLR, longer RPGs are just a much better experience on portable consoles. The same case is with Disgaea 4, for me even though I was playing through the game a second time, I never felt bored. I played the game whenever I wanted, sometimes while waiting for class in 10-20 minute sessions to quickly level up a character or for hours on the weekend. Trust me when I say this, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited is one of the best games on the PS Vita and if you’re even remotely interested in RPGs you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Cry Wolf is the perfect finisher to end the fantastic series. The ending did not only leave me perfectly satisfied but had me replay the prior episodes to look for clues and answers. As a series The Wolf Among Us is defiantly in my favorites list. I would recommend all gamers, not just adventure game fans to try the game, it converted me and will hopefully convert you too. I just hope somehow in the future Telltale comes back and gives us a season two or even a spinoff in the same universe.
