God Eater 3 is a delightful smashup of monsters, swords and skintight leather. Just don’t be surprised when you discover that’s all there is.
While each element of this game had it’s ups and downs, I was still able to get sucked right into the battles on every stage.
Do not, under any circumstances, buy this game in its current state. YIIK is an aggressive yet sleepy-eyed assault on your money and your free time that needs a lot of work.
Regardless of your latent skill level, there’s a ton of content here that’s sure to keep you hooked for quite some time. If you’re one of the many Wii U diehards out there, these games might not pique your interest in the same way. The portable element is lovely and the bundle is super convenient, but I recognize that might not be enough.
While not always clearly defined, Battle Princess Madelyn is still a damn decent excursion into the storied history of 16-bit platforming.
Take it from me: you don’t want to sleep on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Nintendo has knocked it out of the park with this one.
If you found yourself starving for a greater challenge while playing World of Final Fantasy, then the Maxima Upgrade will surely light a fire in you. If you struggled and slogged through the game’s many battles, then this upgrade will leave you famished yet.
Whether it’s your first time or fortieth, Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee are a trip to Kanto you won’t want to miss.
Whether you’ve never played before or you’ve put in over a thousand hours, this game will pull you right in without a second’s hesitation.
After spending several hours smashing away on imaginary drums, I found slightly more frustration than fun in Gal Metal.
If you're a Pac-Man diehard, you'll find a lot to love with the Namco Museum Arcade Pac. Otherwise, I'd give this one a pass.
I had a lot of fun with The World Ends With You: Final Remix. After my motion-based rage died down, I learned to really love this port. It's a great game to pick up and play whenever you find the time.
Mega Man 11 brings the series to new heights.
CrossCode is a beautiful world loaded with puzzles of all kinds. If you can find your center among this storm of separate genres, you might really enjoy this game.
If you're into it, Senran Kagura Reflexions will be just what you're looking for.
Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to the series, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is an easy recommendation.
If you're looking for a hack n' slash game with a certain aesthetic, Code of Princess EX has you covered. If you don't like the look however, you may find yourself left wanting more.
Controls aside, this might be one of the first collections I've acquired in a long time where I'm almost compelled to finish every game. If you've no experience with the X series, or if you missed out on a lot of these titles, the Mega Man X Legacy Collections are a terrific investment.
