If you’re willing to bend to these crushing winds, Skelattack will be a blast.
Minecraft Dungeons isn’t the finest ARPG I’ve ever picked up, but it’s a terrific first step in your journey.
Let Lonely Mountains: Downhill take you away, and you’ll be deeply satisfied with the trip.
Whether you’ve played the original or not, Trials of Mana should be on your ARPG radar.
Wherever Square Enix goes from here, we can’t possibly get there soon enough. Miss out on Final Fantasy VII: Remake at your peril.
Persona 5 Royal is a fabulous RPG, one deserving the monarch’s spot atop the Atlus mountain of games.
If you’ve ever had even a whiff of interest in this franchise, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be an absolute slam dunk. Don’t sleep on this one for a second.
If you’re fishing for an anime fighter that will keep you at your seat’s edge, look no further than Granblue Fantasy: Versus.

If you must prepare for this game, then prepare to be exhausted, elated, and energized. I found the Persona/Fire Emblem mix to be a bit unbalanced for my tastes, with too much tough and not quite enough touching. Still, under the layers of glitter, music, and misery, there’s a rock-solid JRPG to be found. If any of these disparate ingredients caught your eye, then Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will almost certainly keep you hooked.
Choose the world of Wattam at your most studious discretion, my friends.
If you’re seeking out a little scif-fi arcade action, definitely check out Space Pioneer.
Between the dungeon size, the bite-size story chunks, and the clear objectives, this is a game meant for picking up at a moment’s notice.
Scoring this game for me is a struggle. The core design structure, the aesthetic presentation, and the basic game feel are all excellent. Yet I hated Luigi’s Mansion 3 so acutely that I could not complete the game. There was no single puzzle that outwit me in the end. Instead, that rising sense of terrible dread just became too much. I wasn’t even that far from finishing the game! I just couldn’t grapple with the knowledge that all my suffering was a prelude to something worse.
It’s a short, steel rail line, but one that leads directly to halcyon summers and lingering sorrow. In other words, I highly recommend Concrete Genie.
Aside from its length, Sayonara Wild Hearts is basically a perfect rhythm game.
Rage 2’s Rise of The Ghosts DLC is either more of what you loved or hated, in generous portions.
Putting aside the gorgeous graphics, the obtuse level design, and the various modern touches, Link’s Awakening is still an exceptional Zelda game.
Fans of brawlers and badass girls alike won’t wanna miss River City Girls.
