You absolutely need to play Spider-Man 2. Insomniac is the pinnacle Sony studio, showing off not only what it can do, but what the PS5 itself can do.
This is a solid, Creative Assembly-driven RTS, well-suited for those who love the genre and also for those who are into science fiction; if you're a fan of both, even better. Simple to understand, fun to play and challenging on higher difficulties, it's hard to go wrong with Halo Wars 2.
Even then, this is an extremely solid bundle worth your hard earned. Grab it. Relieve some great gaming moments of the past and be thankful that your nostalgic memories aren’t tainted with expectations that can’t be lived up to today. Bioshock‘s still got it — even if you can’t use current-gen OS to actually capture any of it all at present.
This is the best use of PlayStation VR that I’ve seen currently available. The other, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, won’t be available for a bit. Despite those rough patches, Prey is wholly engrossing, begging the player to solve Talos 1's many mysteries. It works well as a shooter, a stealth game and carries an 70s sci-fi vibe that is nothing short of a delight to experience.
Levels take around two to three minutes to clear, so Bye-Bye is well-suited for portable play.

The main mantra of Splatoon 2 seems to be 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', and this is fine. This new Switch offering is robust, full of content and fun. Go and feed your hungry home-handheld hybrid.

WipEout Omega Collection won't hold your hand
This is a nice mixture between rigid simulator and cruisy arcade racer, accessible to all.
There's not much to Matterfall, but there doesn't need to be. Once again, Housemarque has made a tight little game with polished mechanics that's sure to delight.
While it's true that Shadow was starting to show its age in 2011 and is continuing to do so in 2018 — even rebuilt from scratch — those who've played the title before will revel in the new life that Sony's breathed into the classic. For those unfamiliar with the game, it'll be a harder sell — but that said, stick with it.
A game of Rise and Fall makes you feel like everything you have done has really mattered. That every action taken mingles with those of others and changes the world. It's great.
If you love Origins, you'll get a big kick out of "Curse of the Pharaohs". Simple, really.
Playing Overcooked 2, it's evident that Ghost Games understood what worked and what didn't in the original. New mechanics feel like an evolution of core gameplay rather than the likes of a DLC pack that adds a couple new chefs or kitchens. Even new recipes like different varieties of sushi feel fun and fresh, with different components that need to be left raw or cooked.
NHL 20 is a decided improvement over NHL 18 and a step up from NHL 19, though you’d also be forgiven if you skipped out for a year.
This time around, Playtonic has swapped out the retro 3D stylings of the original for something that plays more like a Donkey Kong Country sequel, offering a variety of levels where skill and strategy are necessary to succeed.
